2023.06.01 00:21 Candid_Asparagus_785 Just received 48 month extension for the I-751
We filed for my husbands green card renewal and received a 48 month extension. He can file for the N-400 next year but the USCIS says it will not be approved until the I-751 is approved. He came in on a CR-1 visa and received a 2 year green card. This renewal is for his 10 year green card. Why do we have to wait 4 years for his new green card? Will we have to submit more evidence? We have a lawyer we have used to file everything. Anyone have any insight? Thanks in advance. (We live in FL and our field office is in Tampa. There’s a satellite office in Fort Myers but not sure which Dropbox the lawyer filed the paperwork or if he filed online)

Hey Reddit community, I live in a brand new 2bed 2.5 bath townhouse in north fort Myers. It’s in a gated community called bayshore commons. I’ve only been living out of my room and the kitchen. And as it’s unfurnished, it would make for a perfect fit for someone looking to stay long term. We could put our heads together and start decorating it the way we want etc. I’ve tried FB but the market for young professionals looking for housing seems pretty small, or I’m advising incorrectly. Does anyone have any ideas or advice? This place is. Truly beautiful and brand new. Just looking for another young professional to take the second bed and bathroom.

I have driven in places across the US, and easily found Miami to be the worst and Fort Myers to be the alpha Andrew Tate fan driver.
I have never seen, multiple drivers, speed up more than 15 mph above the speed limit to cut off someone, then slam the break skittttttt at the intersection light.
I just don't think the drivers here can stand the idea of driving behind someone because they have such a big ego. Like what, you cut me off just to see me again at the intersection lights? What's that for? I don't drive in the left lane and I drive 5-10 above the speed limit, so you have no excuse to cut me off like that, and also, turn off your fucking far headlight at night, everyone knows you drive a truck.
I have to drive more defensively in our city than anywhere else (except Miami ofc).

And I know various places bring in cover bands that are really good (Seed to Table, South Street, Hertz etc.). But are there any local hard rock bands that play good covers, but stay in the area (Marco, Naples, Fort Myers) so you can see them every once in a while on a consistent basis?
