Hi everyone, i've posted SO much in the past weeks (as you can see on my profile) and I received lots of helpful tips from many users on this sub, but i'm still at a loss/in a rut/not serving my baby in the best possible way... and i need help!
I've been doing Crib Hour on Nap 1 for a week. It's only worked 3 times (not consecutively) and I don't know why/how/what I can do. What I do know is that my baby is exhausted.
Background:

• 6mo baby, 2.25/2.5/2.5/3 WWs, been dealing with short naps for months and EMWs since Mid May.
• Our DWT used to be 7am but we've now settled on 6.15am to meet our baby somewhere comfortable, and avoid crazy overtiredness. Since upping the last WW to 3hrs, she's been waking up at 6/6.15am.
• I base nap 1 off our DWT, but realistically as she wakes up earlier, that WW is almost always 2.5hrs since she woke up.

There's no rhyme or reason as to whether Nap 1 will be long or not. I had 3 days where she slept 1h15/1h20mins (glorious!), but the rest of the time her eyes pop open at 30mins, she's still exhausted (rubbing her eyes, pulling on her ear, rubbing her head etc) but she just can't fall back asleep. She doesn't cry when she wakes up, she just hangs out with her eyes open and starts babbling towards the end of Crib Hour because obviously she's dog-tired. So then WW2 is horrible because she's exhausted, and I have to extend Nap 2 to make sure she sleeps a full 1.5hours consecutively and gets enough rest.
What am I doing wrong? Please help me because my baby is soooo tired all the time it breaks my heart. I feel like a failure.

ps. i'm working with a Sleep Consultant who wants me to push WW1 to 2.5 *from DWT* but i'm not comfortable doing that as my baby is so clearly exhausted already, and doing this would mean she's been realistically awake for 2.75 if she wakes up at 6am (as she does most of the time).

Currently drafting my patent application, and wondering if “Spheroidal” is sufficient to encompass objects that are spherical in nature like soccer balls and object that are more ellipsoidal in nature like footballs? Or should I just write “Elliptical and Spherical”.
I am also looking for the best verbiage to cover variants between a full spheroidal shape and a half sphere or half ellipsoid (Hemispheroidal) like a bosu ball... if anyone has tips, I’d appreciate it.

Terriermon likely has one horn since the other angel trio of gatomon and patamon have dark counterparts that evolve in their demon lord counter parts. And demons are usually associated with two horns so would make sense that lopmon dark sibling would have two horns.
Also something else interesting to point out is terriermon was likely made a dog digimon since in tamers the main four digidestined that achieve biomerge evolution we see two are reptile digimon with guilmon and cyberdramon and two canine digimon of terriermon and renamon. Where reptile and canine digimon are usually the digimon of the main rival digidestined. I paid someone to edit the first chapter of my novel. My goal was to get feedback on the writing itself, like how I structure my sentences and how that could be improved. Here's what the package was listed as containing on the vendor's profile:

Here's the message I sent explaining what I want: I'm interested in having someone line/copy edit the first chapter of my novel. I'm on draft 7 or so and think I'm finally past the point of doing deep developmental edits. I'd like to now focus on how I can improve the writing itself (although any developmental feedback is also welcome).
What a received today is an almost exact copy of my original draft, with some punctuation and spelling mistakes corrected. I'm very disappointed, to me it seems only the proofreading part of the order was delivered. There was no feedback on the sentence structure or any suggestions on how to change them. But I'm new to this, so I don't know if perhaps my expectations were wrong? I expected something like this .

My dog Nino is one of my favorite creatures in the world. He's a big black French Mastiff-shepherd-and some others mix. He was born on June 14th in 2017 and we got him on August 14th of that year, along with a big brown dog from the same litter we named Bronze. Nino was the runt and the only black dog of the entire litter, and the other two litters that their parents had afterwards.
As a puppy and a young dog he was a pain. Like, biting and barking at everything pain. But he was our pain, and an important part of the family. He didn't like many things. Peanut butter, bananas, apples, covering your face with your hands, staring at the wall, birds, strangers, etc. High strung and anxious as all hell no matter what. Strong as an ox too, and fast and agile. Beautiful and goofy and smart and conniving and god a pain in the ass. He liked to break out of yards and crates and bully his brother, despite being around 30 lbs lighter.
He's always been lean and a picky eater. Him going on hunger strikes when he got tired of a food was not uncommon, even when he was a growing puppy. This made it harder to notice when things changed.
He stopped eating his regular food. This was normal, we'd had to switch brands and flavors many times because of him. So we switched and he ate that. Then he stopped eating the new brand, so we switched to another. All was well and good, until he stopped eating that. We thought his teeth might be starting to go, so we switched him to paté. He ate that. Until he didn't, so we switched him to meat chunks and gravy. He ate that stuff like it was the best thing in the world. And then he stopped eating that.
He coughed, but we didn't think anything of it at first. He huffed, but we didn't think anything of it at first. Then he started coughing up little specks of blood. We panicked, then rationalized that he'd just hacked so hard that it frustrated his esophagus. We'd take him to the vet, they'd put him on some sort of antibiotic, and we'd have our dog back.
They do a routine check up. He seems fine, though lethargic and thin, and huffed when too excited. They did bloodwork. It came back odd, so they decided to do an x-ray.
Masses in his lungs. Big masses, and lots of them. He had lung cancer and there was nothing they could do.
"He's not in any horrible pain," they said. They gave us the option to put him down now or in a couple days. What a fucking scary decision. "Do you want to kill your dog now or in a little bit?" Great options.
We decided that because we have family that would like to say goodbye to him, and so that our other dog could say goodbye, and because he's not in actively bad pain, to take him home and spend the next few days with him.
I have no fucking clue what to do. This is the first time I've had to say goodbye to a pet that was mine. He's 9 days from turning 6 years old. He's a young dog. We were supposed to say goodbye in 4 or 5 years, hopefully more. Not now. It wasn't supposed to be now.
I have no clue what to do about Bronze. He's going to be so confused, not know what to do without his brother. They're intensely bonded, and Bronze freaks out when they're even in different rooms than one another. They're Bronze and Nino. You couldn't separate them, they're a package deal. And now it's just going to be Bronze.
I don't know what to do or how to handle this. I don't want my dog to die. Why did this have to happen? Why, when he's such a good dog? When he's such a sweet dog, give so many kisses and stares with wide eyes and rolls around on the floor just to wiggle up next to you until you rub his belly. Kicks his leg when you scratch on his butt and knows right from left paw. He should've had years left. Not days, not hours. Years.

Moonlight filtered in through the curtains, and an owl hooted outside. A large, dead tree reached up to Elucia's window, its withered branches scratching against the glass like wooden fingers trying to claw their way inside. The girl herself was hunched over at the desk, humming.
This inn was a rather lovely place. They even had a quill and some ink, though patrons had to supply their own scrolls. Elucia had no problem with that, and happily laid out her fifty-something parchment papers to begin scribbling notes on. She had been studying many things these past few weeks. Among them was Asmon.
She put him right by her chair. She would need to climb back into him later. He loomed over her. In battle, he shielded her against many dangers. He had saved her life, before the cultists could sacrifice it to their dark gods. And yet, whenever Elucia looked at him… she felt threatened. She knew some part of him was sentient; but what part? To what degree?
She bit her lip, dabbed her quill in some more ink. She would have a lot of writing to do. Elucia decided that maybe she ought to try a primary source.
"Hey, Asmon. How are you feeling?"
Asmon twitched.

Sunlight filtered in through the stained glass window. The room smelled strongly of flowers. Right outside the door, the royal guard marched, performing their routine patrol. The Sultan was hunched over on his stool, while he turned a blank canvas into a glorious oasis.
Asmedan was standing at his side. Though Asmedan wished to comment on the painting's elegance – the young Sultan had grown proficient in the art – he kept his mouth shut. The Sultan wouldn't hear a word of compliment from him. Or a word of anything. The Sultan was deaf, and Asmedan was mute.
Among the common peoples, it was a bad thing to be mute. Among slaves, it was a selling point. If he could talk, Asmedan would've been killed back in the mines, and wouldn't be serving the royals of the Dunelands. He had watched the young Sultan since his birth, and he would probably watch him die. Such were things.
"Hey, Asmon," the Sultan turned around and motioned towards the painting, "What do you think?"
I think you should use my real name, pig.
But through sign language, words could be thought on, and lies could be more easily told. He signed:
"Your art rivals the sculptures of House Scepter, though it lacks some maturity."
It was important to throw in some criticism. Otherwise, he would no longer seem genuine, and the Sultan would cease to think him a friend. Friends did not whip friends. Asmedan's back was lined with wicked scars. Most of them were from the mines. Three were from the young Sultan.
"Hey, Asmon," the young Sultan snapped him from his thoughts, "How have you been feeling, eh? You are my friend, by the way. You seem worried as of late. I am always here to… sign to."
Asmedan stopped himself from grimacing. Why did the master care to know the heart of his slave? A man befriends a man. A warrior befriends a sword. A man could not know joy without a friend; a sword could not know battle without someone to swing it.
But a slave? A slave was kept from happiness by his master. Asmon, he would be called. A brief, localized version of his true name. In his own homeland, "Asmon" was the kind of name given to dogs. A master didn't need a slave to be happy; a master ought to raise his own damn son. A slave ought to be a master. There ought to be no slaves. Asmedan ought to be a sultan.
That is how he felt.
"I feel okay, sir."

Elucia was sitting at the desk again. She decided to spend an extra day at the inn, as apparently a necessary bridge had been toppled in a recent spellcasting incident. And besides, it was a really nice inn. Her room at the shack wasn't unpleasant, but it was lifeless. Here, she felt like she could breathe.
Also sitting at her desk was Asmon. She had crawled into him, pinched the quill between his claws, and willed his muscles to move. It was a struggle at first, but with practice even movements as fine as these felt normal. Elucia had actually grown quite attached to Asmon – literally and figuratively.
It was hard not too. Even with his ominous aura and all, he was quickly becoming a necessary part of her life. Without Asmon, she would never walk again. She would never jump. She wouldn't have anything fun to study without him, either. She often pondered his origins, and the biomechanics that allowed him to move as he did.
Today, she was just practicing writing. She wanted to see how precise this shell could be. The quill glided easily across the scroll, Asmons hand a tool of elegance. It felt a lot like painting.

Asmedan had learned something men should not learn, and seen something men should not see. It wasn't even hard to do it, either. He had pulled an ancient text from the great library, the one adjacent to the young Sultan's new garden. He had drawn a sigil with chalk in the abandoned wing of the palace. He had scattered feathers and the guts of a shark across the floor.
And now it was here. It crawled from between the cracks in the floorboard, slithered from his ears, from his mouth. It stood taller than the palace itself, and yet was small enough to fit between his fingers. The thing was nothing. Sweat dripped down Asmedan's brow. That little bead of water rolled down to his chin, sagged, dropped to the floor.
It became a whirlpool, almost. In it's depths, Asmedan saw a thousand faces, and many of them were not unlike his own.
"You have called us because you want to kill the Sultan," said the drop of sweat.
Asmedan's hands became a flurry motion as he explained himself.
"Yes, Riala, my queen. I seek your aid. I seek to free the slaves of the Duneland, and to become the king of the downtrodden."
"We are not Riala. She did not exist until I willed it so. I do not say this to boast. It is simple truth. Asmedan, did you hope to connect with Riala? You think of her as a force of good. She is not. Nor is she evil. She's just another animal."
Asmedan stared down at the thing. Riala was an ancient demon, spoken of only by heretics and fortune tellers. He had not expected her to be good, but he had at least expected her to answer. No matter.
"Tell me your name, then, so I can give you the reverence you deserve."
"Flattery is of no use to us, but we will tell you this: We go by many names. Glok-tar was our first. A thousand years passed. Then, we were Philong. Then we were Treatan. Then we were Hrothgar, then we were Philip, then we were Mecrates. Soon, we will be Asmedan. We know why you have called us here."
"You are destined to die as a slave, Asmedan. Did you know that? You will die as a slave. One day, the young Sultan will grow tired of your pleasantries and your ceaseless loyalty. He will feed you to a pack of hounds in order to appease foreign guests. They will laugh. He will forget you. Then, it would be as though you never existed at all."
"In calling us, you bypass that death. You live. And you live. And you live. You are granted power over your fate. You are granted a voice. Can you handle it? Can you carry the weight of your life? You think you can, and so you will try. We know you are certain of this."
In the center of the ritual circle, the chalk and the feathers and the guts of a dark drew closer to one another, guided across the floor by an invisible hand. They flashed white in the center, and in their place, was a simple dagger.
"Take this dagger, Glok-tar, Philong, Treatan, Hrothgar, Philip, Mecrates, Asmedan. We give you this dagger! We give you life! Plunge it through the sultan's throat. His life will be yours. His voice will be yours. You will carry the weight."
Asmedan took the dagger.

Most of the movies in Disney’s extended lineup are in the same universe. The multiverse concept can be confusing, but the way I see it is that the different realities are formed by branching timelines, from the different possibilities that could come from any specific event. It’s all a big question of what if.

• The Pixar Timeline: All of the stories are in the same universe. Their timeline splits from the main Disney line in the event of the dinosaur’s extinction, where the asteroid misses the earth. There’s a whole other theory about that.

• The Furryverse: This universe is where anthropomorphic animals replaced humans. This timeline splits before human evolution, and the animals became smarter and civilized. THE WORLD OF ‘DESCENDANTS’:
How does the world of Descendants work? Without explanation, it can be confusing. I had one theory that suggested that the franchise was created as a conspiracy by the Fairy Godmother, who used magic to bring various locations and inhabitants from the past into the present, forming her own magical country called Auradon and a seemingly perfect world. However, upon closer examination and new information, this theory doesn’t seem to work. The spin-off "The Rise of Red" reveals that all the villains in Descendants knew each other as teenagers, suggesting that they were born in the modern time rather than the distant past. Therefore, the Descendants franchise can be understood as a world where all Disney stories coexist in the modern era. Some possible connections can be drawn to Dreamworks' "Shrek" franchise and the ABC series "Once Upon A Time," where various fairy tales unfold around the same time with interconnected storylines, sometimes tied to our world.
In another perspective, one could view Descendants as Disneyland with a plot.

Alright so i want a ballpython but i dont really know how to properly care for one and i want advice and tips its my first time i havent gotton the snake yet but am planning on getting one any tips or advice any pros and cons? Where should i get one and how should its surroundings look? My room is almost constantly dark and iv got a small dog would that cause a problem? Also any facts about them that i should know in the long run? What food is best for them? Are they sensitive to noise? Or sudden movements? How do i build trust with the snake? Do they need to go outside constantly do they have medical problems i should keep in mind? If yall can help me that would be amazing!

Today was meh. I feel unworthy. My boyfriend Rick touched his roommates friends with benefits (for almost a year), Chelsea on the face, in front of me. I know there is no malicious intent. But I can’t help but wonder what inspired it. He was drinking, but even drunk me would not touch another man’s face. My boyfriend acknowledged he wouldn’t like it if i did the same. I wish it didn’t happen and it didn’t take a hold of me.. it made me so mad. I Don’t want to be so dependent on a guy for my emotions. I do love Rick so much. I’m tired of not feeling like I am enough. Especially due to another woman( Men in the past has made me feel that way). In any relationship, it has happened to me so many times before. Rick gave her compliments about her smile and her smile tattoo earlier that night. Said it was to be friendly and then touched on her cheek. I know he had a lot to drink. But this is inexcusable behavior. Rick does do a lot of things for me like always show me love, listen (most of the time), text back fast, makes time for me, and overall takes care of me. I love him and believe he deserves the world. Although, I myself struggle internally. With my self image and worth. Can’t really depend on a guy to give me that. I lost my temper yesterday and today. Don’t really like that side of me. Argued with Rick after this happened while I was drunk for two hours. Letting my anger take over and by the time I considered the fact of his roommate hearing, the situation escalated. It was too late. I could tell his roommate was mad at me bc of this. Two days later I could tell by his attitude. I don’t like the picture that is portrayed of me. He has every right to be mad at me. It is awkward between Chelsea and I too. I really like her as a person. That night I didn’t direct any anger at her. Just told her how I didn’t like Rick’s actions. She insisted it was okay and the roommate (Jason) does it all the time with friend. I need to apologize but I am mad I have to. I want to though. I’m very embarrassed and disappointed. I don’t like this side of me. I don’t like how when it comes to men I become this. I often want to disappear in the depths of life. Don’t want to say I’m suicidal, but sometimes I wish I wasn’t here. I have lately been imagining an Earth without me on it. While other days I feel so alive. Trying to live for others and through others to give them the best life. Make sure they stay positive while I am struggling internally. I live to make sure their mindsets and strengths are even better. With my education and knowledge. I know the idea of leaving this earth is something my family members struggle with… My dad, my mom, and my aunt. It just tears me down. Trying to make a living and make enough money to give to them… I’m not there yet… While the mental battles are wearing. Knowing how life is and being able to handle it is tough. I sometimes feel Rick can find better and someone more suitable to him. I would like to be that person but I feel like I can’t at times. I know I am good to him in a variety of ways. I always make sure he’s okay mentally, do little things to make him happy, cook for him, educate myself to help him with things, do his laundry, take care of his dogs, and spend time with his family and friends because that’s what he values. Sometimes in situations like this I want to show him how hurt I am by his actions. How much it hurt me. But is this fair? Is that love? I know I’m not asking for much by not wanting him to touch another girls face… But to see myself, letting him know some actual thoughts, he’s really seen the ugly and dark insides. In the beginning of our relationship, he lied about wanting to see other ppl while being with me. I had to find out through one of his friends telling me. He ended up choosing me and I found out his lie later. He was seeing another person. But didn’t tell me even when i asked. Also was caught texting his ex a couple months in (nothing romantic or wanting to be with her). When i saw her name pop up I asked what it was about. Then he deleted the messages. He told me he would tell me if she text him again and not respond. Yet, it happened again. I saw her name pop up. I read the messages and deleted it. He also deleted some messages. I later recovered them. I hate how the person I truly care for can boil this much anger inside me. I can get very self-destructive. But I usually stay to myself.. don’t want to be hurt. And at times like these, when I am feeling like this… I want to be by myself and alone, wallow in my sadness and anger. Like am I deserving of love? I get very self destructive and say stuff I don’t mean. I wake up the next day hating myself. Promising I won’t do it again. But as our relationship progresses I love him more and more. I don’t want to hurt him. I know he deserves the world. And I often question if I can be the one to fulfill his needs and provide that. Albeit I feel anger boiling up inside me, the more I deal with unfair situations. How can I handle this pain? Wanting to him to know my pain after the situation. I know it’s not fair to transfer it. I know it’s not fair to ignore. I know it’s not fair to do the same thing to him. And I wouldn’t do these things… I don’t want to give up and ultimately be the person I want to, for myself and him, but sometimes relationships captivate me to the point I can’t be all that I want to, while not getting consumed by the relationship. I don’t put my full effort into what I desire and do to my relationship.
