 | Me being a complete Kodak 5219 junkie I had to investigate. So I bought a roll to test. I shot it and it was exactly what I thought it was. Kodak 5219 Vision 3 500t with the carbon anti halation remjet layer removed. Literally the exact same product as Cinestill 800t but at a better price point. I even got 39 exposures on the roll. The packaging does not have any sort of branding on the cassette or box so I am just going to dub it “Sinostill 800t”. I asked a clerk at a las Vegas EZ Pawn- where I’d pawned my PS5- if my due date could be extended. “Sure, I’ll check w/ my manager” .
Guy comes back and says the manager will give me til the 16th. I got 10 extra days. I asked about additional interest and the clerk shrugged, said it will be about $12 extra. It was all verbal though I did ask for paper receipts.
I just picked up my PS5. They charged me a “finance charge” of $49.40 for those 10 extra days. That is in addition to the $148.20 I was told about and agreed to pay. For a 3 month $380 loan.
AND my PlayStation box smells like farts. I’m offended AND pissed off.
Guy who cashed me out said he could do nothing about this “finance charge”. Anyone out there have a similar experience with EZ Pawn?

Hey all, been stalking this sub daily and several other gaming laptop subs. I found a couple interesting finds at my local Ezpawn today and was wondering if I got a good deal. I have 24 hours to return if I find they’re defective or not worth my money. I didn’t have a lot of time to research but did the best I could with just popping in for a peak around.
I found:
HP Pavilion- 15-ec1010nr. Overall quality is really good, clean, and everything appeared to be working as expected.
MSI ms16r3 with an i7 - machine looked a little dirty and someone had definitely gone in and expanded the storage on it.
I snagged the HP for $400 and they were asking $400 for MSI as well.
Did I get a good deal? Should I go back and grab the MSI too?
Just curious as I’m new fairly new to the laptop gaming space.

So as the title says, I bought a xbox one from ezpawn for $15 some time ago. It was marked "as is" & for $15. I asked them what was wrong with it and all I got was they told me "it's blacklisted". No cables or controllers were included.
So I brought it over to a friends house, since I have yet to get a power cable for it over at my place. There was a gamer tag which we removed and a nba 2k game. The disk drive appears either to not work or the game is so scuffed up that it can't be read. There were 2 games installed: Fortnite and the Nba game (which after a short bit of youtubing, I suspect this is probably the culprit for the "blacklist).
So, what does that even mean when they say "it's blacklisted"? Stolen or was it the gamertag itself or some other odd reason like being listed for recall via serial number?
Think I should try to keep the xbox? I do have a receipt as a proof of purchase from the pawnshop incase cops come knocking (if that's even something they do for a console). Or should I try to sell it (gamestop offered me $60 in cash or $80 store credit)?
I don't get why they would keep telling me it's blacklisted and then proceed to sell it to me (if they're referring to it being stolen) as they aren't even supposed to accept stolen merchandise? And this was listed as being there since 10/17/2021

A delay and hopefully reduction in unemployment benefits will be bring back demand for short term cash needs / secured loans. People will be forced to pawn/sell what they bought early on.
