2023.03.24 07:17 frozen_mercury A better way to do random civs in team games

We all know that in team games civ and player positions matter a lot. Ideally you want the civs with good cavalry in pocket position, and fast archer civs in flank position.
Because of this, in every ranked team game you are kind of forced to pick civs. And the result is, you end up using and facing the same civ matchups over and over again. In Arabia, one of the pockets is always Frank and honestly quite boring. I am sure most players don't like using or facing the same civs again and again.
This can be easily solved by letting us create civilization groups in the game. The way this would work is, you create a few civ groups like archers, cavalry, camels, navy, elephant archers, monks, gunpowder etc. Then you categorize your civs into those groups. Then, when you find a match, you just choose your player number (hence your position) and you choose your civ category. The game automatically picks a random civ from your category. For example, let's say you are pocket and you choose monk group, which has civs like bohemians, bengalis, aztecs, burmese. Or you want to play pocket in Arabia, and you select cavalry group which has persian, teutons, khmer, berbers etc. The game simply picks one civ from that group randomly.
The added benefit is that your ally can kind of judge what you are going for in the game, so can plan ahead as well. For example, you see your ally picking gunpowder group. That kind of hints that your ally will go for fast imp or so, and you can plan for that.
I think if something like this implemented, you will see a lot more variety of civs in team games which will be more fun for everyone.
I would love to hear everyone's thought on this. Thanks!

2023.03.24 07:06 TheTribeofYHWH Isaiah 52:13-53:12: Everyone take a moment to read.

I want to share a passage that as integral in my conversion to Christianity with everyone, as well as my notes on it, out of pure zeal. Enjoy!
\God Speaks:]) See, my servant shall succeed; he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high. Just as there were many who were astonished at you—so marred was his appearance, beyond human semblance, and his form beyond that of mortals—so he shall sprinkle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths because of him; for that which had not been told them they shall see, and that which they had not heard they shall contemplate. \Israel Speaks:]) Who has believed what we have heard? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For he grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form or majesty that we should look at him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by others; a man of pains and acquainted with sorrows; and like the hiding of the face for him, he was despised, and we held him of no account. Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we accounted him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the punishment that made us whole, and by his bruises we are healed. We all like sheep have gone astray; we have all turned to our own ways, but the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth. By a perversion of justice he was taken away. Yet who of his generation even considered that he was cut off from the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of my people to whom the blow belonged? They made his grave with the wicked and with a rich man in his death, although he had done no violence, and there was no deceit in his mouth. Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him with weakness. When you make his life a guilt offering, he shall see offspring, and shall prolong days; and through him the will of the Lord shall prosper. Out of his anguish he shall see light; he shall find satisfaction through his knowledge. \God Speaks:]) The righteous one, my servant, shall make many to be considered righteous, and he shall bear their sins. Therefore I will allot him a portion with the many, and he shall divide the spoil with the multitudes; because he poured out his life to death, and was numbered with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of the many, and will intervene for the transgressors.

Notes on Isaiah 52:13-53:13.
There is huge debate and controversy over the identity of the Servant in Isaiah. On the one hand, Isaiah says Israel is the Servant outside of the Servant songs. On the other hand, the Servant reads like an individual in the Servant songs. There is a quite simple resolution to this. While the Servant is identified as Jacob-Israel outside of the songs, the nation of Israel is revealed within the dynamic movement of the four Servant songs as being embodied in a suffering individual figure. So, the Servant never stops being "Israel," but "Jacob-Israel" undergoes a reduction down to one within these songs. This is not my invention but is rather a prominent scholarly opinion. For example, Ricki Watts writes in his 1990 article: "In cognizance of the individual traits . . . it would appear that true Israel has been reduced to one (cf. 53:6 and ch. 48)" - Rikki Watts, 1990: p. 55. Jan L. Koole writes that Deutero-Isaiah's "reproaches to the Israel of his day, esp. in chap. 48, are so sharp and so much aimed at the people as a whole, that this 'true' Israel has undergone an extreme reduction (Simon, Sawyer) and must, it seems, be confined to an individual" - J.L. Koole, Isaiah III, Vol. 2 (Peeters, 1998), pp. 12-13. Brevard S. Childs writes: "what is crucial to observe is that one, bearing all the marks of an individual historical figure, has been named servant, not to replace corporate Israel—the servant in Second Isaiah remains inseparable from Israel—but as a faithful embodiment of the nation Israel who has not performed its chosen role (48:1–2)" - Brevard S. Childs, Isaiah: A Commentary (OTL, 2001), p. 385. Mark S. Gignilliat writes: "a movement has been noted in the drama of Isaiah 40–55, a movement from the Servant as Israel to the Servant as an individual who takes on the role of Israel as restorer of Zion and light to the nations. Thus, neither the emphasis on Israel’s special role in God’s redemptive economy nor the highly individual language attributed to the Servant after Isaiah 48 is lost. The Servant is Israel, the Servant is an individual" - Mark S. Gignilliat 2008: 125-126. Paul R. Raabe writes: "the reader should understand the “Servant of Yahweh” who is to restore collective Israel and atone for collective Israel as Israel-reduced-to-one, God’s Israel-in-one" - Paul Raabe 2018: 331.
The Servant within the Servant Songs can't be Jacob-Israel as a collective, because there are numerous points of contrast between the Servant and Israel as a nation.
  1. For example, in Isa. 49:5-6 the Servant has a mission to the nation as a group. This means that the nation as Servant is understood to shrink in size. But is this shrinking in size down to one person, or a righteous remnant? Isaiah 49:6 qualifies Israel as the remnant, so the reduction of the Servant seems to be down to one person.
  2. One also can't so easily compare the individual language applied to Israel outside of the songs with the Servant in the songs, since Israel as Servant is intentionally shrunk down in size so as to be distinct from Israel as a nation (as indicated by Isa. 49:5-6), along with the heightening of the individualistic language in each successive song. This combination of shrinking and heightening seems to signify an intentional reduction of what the prophet considered true Israel down to one.
  3. Further, the switch from the "Servant" in Isaiah 40-53 to the collective "servants" of the Servant motif in Isaiah 54-66 (see the "servants"/"offspring" section below) through the Servant's offspring implies that the Servant Songs have, in the context of the book as a whole, both a (primary) individual sense, referring to the Servant, and a (secondary) collective sense, referring to the faithful remnant, (cf. Isaiah 50:10-11), the servants of the Servant. If the Servant was the righteous remnant in the first place, it seems strange to refer to the Servant in the singular in the Servant songs at first and then in the plural after the last Servant song, instead of having the word "Servant" be in the plural all the way through or singular all the way though.
  4. Lastly, the people of Israel and its remnant in the context of Isaiah are transgressors (e.g., Isa. 46:1-12; 48:1-11), while the Servant is faithful and righteous (Isa. 53:9, 11).
Many other points could be raised. Isaiah 49:3 does not preclude this, unless one begs the question against the "Israel-reduced-to-one" view. Plus, in Isa. 49:3, the name of Israel is probably a predicate: "you are Israel" (Jaap Dekker 2012: 38-39). As a result of arguments like these, Joseph Blenkinsopp writes in his Yale commentary on Isaiah 40-55:
"Ever since Christopher R. North surveyed the range of opinion on the identity of the Servant in 1948 (2d ed., 1956), no significant new options have emerged. While there was then and still is a strong critical preference for an individual rather than a collective interpretation, none of the fifteen individuals named as candidates by one commentator or another and listed by North has survived scrutiny" (Joseph Blenkinsopp, Isaiah 40-55 [AYBC; Yale University Press, 2002]: 355).
So, is the Servant an individual or Israel? Both!
The human Servant in Isaiah 52:13 is implied to somehow be YHWH Himself, as recognized by many scholars. The phrase ר֧וּם plus וְ plus נִשָּׂ֛א appears only in Isaiah 6:1; 52:13; 57:15 out of the entire Hebrew Bible, and in Isaiah 6:1 and 57:15 they refer to God. In addition, Isaiah 57:15 and 52:13 seem to refer to the earlier text (Isa. 6:1, which unambiguously refers to God). Moreover, the words ר֧וּם and נִשָּׂ֛א almost always apply to YHWH in Isaiah, and Isaiah 2 makes it clear that only YHWH should be ר֧וּם or נִשָּׂ֛א, as do other Isaian texts. In the exceptions where these terms are applied to other entities, those entities are to be humbled (e.g., Isa. 2:13). Thus, the Servant in the narrative shares the glory of YHWH, which however only belongs to YHWH alone (Isa. 2:11, 17; 42:8; 48:11). For example, Isaiah 2:11, 17 says that: "Yahweh alone will be exalted." Isaiah 42:8 and 48:11 says that YHWH shares his glory with no other. For all these points, see: Mark S. Gignilliat 2008, pp. 131-132; Daniel J. Brendsel 2014, p. 143; and Jaap Dekker 2017, pp. 475-491. Additional points can be raised as well, such as the fact that the Servant calls upon the nations to "listen to me" (Isa. 49:1), even though every time the word "listen" is followed by אֵלַ֔י ("to me") as the direct object, "it is always God who draws attention to himself, 46:3, 12; 48:12; 51:1, 7; 55:3, and so 'listen to me' in this v. also suggests a speaker who transcends the merely human" (Jan L. Koole, Isaiah 49-55, p. 7).
This verse alludes to the suffering the Servant goes through later in the very same song (e.g., "stricken," "smitten," "afflicted," "pierced," "crushed," "punishment," "wounds," etc.). It is not saying that the Servant-Messiah was the ugliest man of all time. It is reminiscent of the Psalter in Psalm 22:6 who says that "I am a worm, and not human." It would be a mistake to interpret this physically.
There is much scholarly disagreement as to whether yazzeh denotes a "sprinkling" or a "startling." The arguments for "startle" or "leap up" are mostly speculative and weak, whereas the arguments for the translation "sprinkle" are primarily based off of solid and existing datums/evidence. Most versions support the translation argued here: e.g., Aquila and Theodotion ('sprinkle'), Vulgate asperget ('sprinkle'), the Peshitta mdk' ('purify'). Most Hebrew texts also support a sprinkling, e.g., our earliest witnesses such as 1QIsa, 1QIsb. "Startle" might be supported by the LXX ('will be astonished'), but, as Goldingay points out: "the latter is as likely a loose translation" (Isaiah 40-55, p. 295). Many scholars relate yazzeh to Arab. nazâ (to spring up, leap), and translate it as "startle." Yet this is wrong. As Goulder points out in his 2002 VT article, (a) outside of this verse in question, the use of this root is unattested in all ancient Hebrew, and (b) the "Arabic term from which it derives denotes physical leaping with no necessary connotations of emotional surprise" (Michael Goulder 2002: 179). The typical arguments against the form of yazzeh being an Hiphil imperfect of nazah, meaning ‘to sprinkle’ (which it means everywhere else in the Hebrew Bible) are: (a) the lack of a substance in the accusative, and (b) the lack of 'al or some such preposition, but rather an anomalous usage where the nations are the direct object of the verb. However, the argument based off the lack of these features is at once rendered weak (especially in light of the above) when we realize that we are dealing with poetry (Paba Nidhani De Andrado 2021: 290). Additionally, Leviticus 4:6, 17 are likely examples of cases where the object or person sprinkled is the direct object of the verb instead of being indicated by a prepositional phrase, though the text there is difficult (see Isaksson Bo, “The Textlinguistics of the Suffering Servant: Subordinate Structures in Isaiah 52,13-53,12,” in En Pase Grammatike Kai Sophia: Saggi Di Linguistica Ebraica in Onore Di Alviero Niccacci, Ofm Studium Biblicum Franciscanum: Analecta 78, 2011), pp. 189-190 (esp. fn. 32). "It has been suggested that the Servant’s “sprinkling” of the nations implies the redemptive significance of his work in their behalf" (James P. Ware, Paul and the Mission of the Church, Philippians in Ancient Jewish Context, 2011, p. 588, n. 110). See H.W. Hertzberg, “Die ‘Abtrünnigen’ und die ‘Vielen’: Ein Beitrag zu Jes 53,” Verbannung und Heimkehr (FS W. Rudolph; ed. J. Kuschke; Tübingen: MohSiebeck, 1961), p. 103; Alviero Niccacci, “Quarto carme del Servo del Signore (Is 52,13-53,12). Composizione, dinamiche e prospettive” (Liber Annuus vol. 55, 2005), p. 21.
I think it is the followers or "offspring" of the Servant = the "servants" of the Servant = the new Israel that speaks in the main body of Isaiah 53. A recent scholar who takes this interpretation of the speaker is R.W.L. Moberly: "My own preferred context-of-origin-oriented reading, for what it’s worth, is that the “we” who speak in Isa 53:1–10 are disciples of the servant, who because of him have themselves become “servants” (54:17) and seek to continue his message and work" - Moberly, "Salvation in the Old Testament," Journal of Theological Interpretation, 2021, p. 199. That Israel in some form is speaking is indicated by the following points,
Other points could be added too. However, it is the new Israel which speaks in Isaiah 53 (or at least the nations are included in the benefits of the speaker), as made clear by Isaiah 54-55 and by the fact that Isaiah 53 is a confession of those who believe the Servant and identify with the Servant (hence the name "servants"). In Isaiah 53:10, it says that the Servant will "see" his "offspring" and make many righteous. Ever since the JSOT essay by W.A.M. Beuken published in 1990, scholars have widely realized that, after the reference to the servant "seeing" his offspring in Isaiah 53:10, the figure of the individual servant is replaced by community called the “servants” in the plural (Isa. 54:17; 56:6; 63:17; 65:8, 9, 13-15; 66:14) and “offspring" (Isa. 59:21; 61:8-9; 65:9, 23; 66:22), who identify with the Servant and form a new Israel (see above). In the prophetic message of Isaiah, Israel is not the ethnic nation as a whole, but the faithful remnant of Israel, joined by the coming influx of gentiles. See Isaiah 19:23-25 and 56:1-8, plus many others.
Some scholars think that the nations/kings speak in Isaiah 53 due to the natural flow between Isaiah 52:15 and 53:1, as well as lexical connections which establishes continuity between the two verses. However, this continuity serves to include the nations/kings in the confession rather than identify the speaker with the nations/kings. In other words, gentiles are grafted into the new Israel = the "servants" (something explicitly expressed in e.g., Isaiah 56:3-8), who speak in the main body of Isaiah 53.
Here, "pierced" is the best translation. If we see how the root chalal is used in biblical Hebrew, we see that it primarily means either "profane" or “pierced.” See Job 26:13; Jer. 14:18; 41:9; Ezek 6:13; 9:7; 28:7, 9; 32:26; 2 Sam. 23:8, 18 and especially Isaiah 22:2; 51:9 for a piercing. Since the context suggests a connotation stronger then "profane," it seems like "pierced" is our best bet. Most importantly, in Isaiah 51:9, "pierced" (applied to a chaos creature) is the best translation due to the parallelism present with how Rahab is said to be "hacked in pieces" (הַמַּחְצֶ֥בֶת). Kristin Joachimsen writes that the word ְמחָֹלל in Isa. 53:15 "is most often taken to be חלל II “pierce”, cf. Isa. 51:9" - Kristin Joachimsen, Identities in Transition: The Pursuit of Isa. 52:13-53:12 (Leiden: Brill, 2011), pp. 113, fn. 95.
Regarding the min, there is nothing wrong with translating the min as "because of," but that is meant vicariously. The preposition in itself denotes cause or reason. The nature of the cause or reason is determined by the context. In Isaiah 53:5 the cause or reason is substitutionary and vicarious: e.g., "The Lord laid on him the iniquity of us all" (verse 6). Also, see the bet pretii in verse 5b ("by his wounds we were healed").
Regarding the word that is sometimes translated as "crushed," מְדֻכָּ֖א, often denotes death or oppression/inner humiliation in the Hebrew Bible, including in Isaiah (3:15; 57:15). And this is not a matter of "literal vs. metaphorical" interpretation. It's taking seriously the semantic range of the word, especially in the genre we are dealing with.
Simon J. Joseph in his book Jesus and the Temple (2016) argues that: "The implication in the NRSV is that it is an individual who is afflicted (“he was stricken”) whereas in the MT, למו may be a synonym for להם meaning “them,” “fofrom them,” or “to them,” suggesting that it is the nation (Israel) that is stricken. Indeed, the word is translated usually as a plural form..." (pp. 224). However, the latter portion of v. 8 is (famously, notoriously) textually uncertain, with different readings in the MT, LXX, and 1QIsaiah from Qumran. Moreover, it is possible to construe the grammar of the sentence in question quite differently, with the people being the reference of lamo, but still able to obtain a meaning that is very much in line with a singular understanding of the servant in this passage: "... of my people to whom the blow belonged" - but now it has been diverted to the Servant. Given the textual uncertainty, it becomes clear that Joseph’s counter-objection has no force.
Simon J. Joseph argues in his book Jesus and the Temple that: "Isa 53:9 uses the plural form for “in his deaths” (במתיו) . . . The Hebrew term for “in his death” would be במותו, not במתיו. If this is the case, then the Servant cannot be an individual, but rather corporate Israel" (pp. 224-225). . However, as Hebrew grammarians know, the word for "death" here can be used in the plural as an intensive (see J.L. Koole, Isaiah 49-55, p. 314), especially in poetry. Plus, the suffix is a singular third person suffix. There is a reason why practically every modern translation and every commentary of which I am aware understand this as the singular, "death."
In Isaiah 53:10, it says that the Servant will "see offspring" and make many righteous. Ever since. the JSOT essay by W.A.M. Beuken published in 1990, many scholars have widely realized that, after the reference to the servant "seeing" offspring in Isaiah 53:10, the figure of the individual servant is replaced by a community called the “servants” in the plural (Isa. 54:17; 56:6; 63:17; 65:8, 9, 13-15; 66:14) and “offspring" (e.g., Isa. 59:21; 61:8-9; 65:9, 23; 66:22), who identify with the Servant and form a new Israel (W.A.M. Beuken 1990: pp. 67-87). Thus, the "offspring" in Isa. 53:10 (and the reference of the Servant making "many" righteous in 53:11) serves as a fulcrum for this entire shift in focus from Servant to this community called the "servants" or "offspring" - the followers of the Servant who identify with him. Regarding the "offspring" and the "servants of the Servant," they fit Jesus and his followers (see above).
James P. Ware writes: "that the Servant is portrayed in the fourth Song as restored from death to life is recognized by the majority of interpreters. The text is explicit that following his demise the Servant “will prolong days” (53:10) and “will see light” (53:11). [The word] אוׁר (“light”), omitted in MT, is attested by IQIsa-a, IQIsa-b, 4QIsa-d, and LXX, and is doubtless the original reading. References to “light” thus recur in all four Servant poems (42:6; 49:6; 50:10-11; 53:11)" - James P. Ware, Paul and the Mission of the Church, Philippians in Ancient Jewish Context, 2011, p. 75. The Servant also "divides spoil" after his death.
The spoil that the Servant divides is his salvation, exaltation and unique role in continuing the plan of YHWH. Thus, the "servants" of the Servant participate in the Servant's redemptive mission and shares his victory (cf. Isa. 55:1-3).
"The many" who have their sins carried by the Servant include gentiles. The "many" recalls the use of "many" with reference to the "many nations" that the Servant sprinkles in Isa. 52:15. The very mention of the Servant sprinkling the nations implies their inclusion to begin with. That gentiles are included is proven by the fact that Gentiles are included in the Servant's Kingdom and mission (Isa. 42:4, 6; 49:6-7), and the fact that Isaiah 54-56 describes the people who are redeemed by the Servant as including those of the nations (54:17; cf. 56:3-8).

Hacking Websites; Hire a Website Hacker to Hack Website and Data
What is the best way to hack a website? For some time now we have been hearing about web server vulnerabilities, including SQL injection, cross site scripting XSS and denial of service attacks. To protect our websites from such attacks, we must try to prevent attackers from accessing them in the first place. One of the most common ways hackers try to gain access to our websites is by trying to guess usernames and passwords. It may sound funny but if a hacker knows the usernames and passwords of many websites then he can use this to gain access to any database on the Internet.
IMPORTANT NOTICE**: If you ever need the service of a hacker to hack any website or for any other hacking service, send an email to [email protected]
This means that if we cannot protect our databases by changing our usernames and passwords every so often then the chance of someone gaining access to them increases dramatically. Even a small number of user names and passwords can increase a hacker's confidence enough to give him access to a database. In order to prevent this kind of attack on our websites, we must try to prevent the hackers getting into the database. The database is obviously the one that contains our customer records, login details and other important usernames and passwords.
The database security is very important because if a hacker is able to get into the database he can use it to do any damage to our company. The security of the database should be strong, but unfortunately it is not always possible to create such database security, which is why it is very important for us to change our usernames and passwords every now and then. However, even if we cannot change our usernames and passwords very often the security of our database is still very important and we should consider using database security software like the commercial products available in the market.
How to Hack a Login Page
One of the most common hacking techniques is the denial of service attack. This is where the attacker obtains a legitimate-looking website that may look legitimate but is actually a phishing attack aimed at stealing sensitive information like usernames and passwords. Once the hacker gained access to our website, he or she can use this information to escalate their own membership in the system, create spam links, delete a user's files and folders, and perform other harmful activities such as redirecting email addresses.
A common site that we encounter that is targeted by these denial of service attacks is PayPal. This is because PayPal is one of the most used websites online. Apart from PayPal, another common website hacking techniques is the clickjacking attack. This involves the hacker finding out how to trigger the vulnerable link in Adobe Flash so that the pages he or she is trying to access turns into an error page instead of allowing the user to proceed to the login page.
The hacker can also try to phish usernames and passwords of various financial institutions including those run by the United States government. Some of the financial information that the hackers can obtain include Social Security numbers, credit card numbers, bank account numbers, and passwords. Once this information falls into the wrong hands, it can be very difficult and complicated to retrieve them especially if the user was using a secure server.
How to Hack Website Admin Password.
Hackers, who do not understand the consequences of their actions, are prone to using 'hacking' methods when trying to crack the security of a website. Hacking is the process of gaining access to another person's computer without their consent. The way in which you could hack into a website is through one of the many security holes that exist within the programming language used by websites to create and maintain their functionality. Most of the time when people try to gain access to a website they do so by clicking on links that appear within the text or in the background of a video.
However, some people try to gain access to a website by bypassing all of the security measures which are placed upon it and this is known as 'Hacking the Web'. When one tries to hack into a website, it is often the case that they attempt to use the website admin password to gain access to the inner workings of the server. In order to hack into a website, one would have to crack the security password which is usually set by the webmaster and is usually difficult to guess. If a user is successful in cracking this password, it then opens up the door for further attacks to the system.
Attacks could range from stealing personal information, such as usernames and passwords, as well as damaging or corrupting files and programs. In the case of a personal computer, if a website admin password is stolen, it could mean that the owner of that computer will not be able to login to their own computer until they either reset the password or obtain a new one.
How to Hack Website Username and Password.
If you are one of the many people who have lost their passwords for their accounts on different websites, then you are probably wondering how to hack a website username and password. With the rapid increase in computer crimes such as identity theft and credit card fraud, there are a lot of unscrupulous people who would like to have access to your information.
This includes your bank account numbers, social security numbers, passwords, and credit cards. Hackers are getting smarter each day, and it has become easier for them to figure out ways to steal these valuable pieces of information. However, it is still not impossible to protect yourself from having your account details stolen.
Hack Website Online Tool.
How to hack school website it’s relatively easy to hack a website if you have knowledge of programming. Various programs exist that are programmed to automatically crawl the Internet to find websites that have changed their passwords, or have posted advertisements. These programs can easily be programmed to take down URLs and alter grades on the fly.
Once they've hacked a college website, other websites will be affected as well, and so forth. In the case of how to hack school website, other students could be caught stealing classmates' homework and grading process information. Many high schools have already lost money due to students using their credit card to buy books and other items off of a website that was hacked.
How to Hack a Website and Change it.
If you are interested in how to hack a website and change it, then you are not alone. Hackers are always looking for new ways to get at and steal information from other computers. When you are trying to learn how to hack a website and change it, you will need to understand that when you have found the right type of vulnerability, you can use this information to access some of the files that are not normally accessible.
For example, if you were to find an HTML password leak, then you might be able to change the code to display something else instead of just the plain password on the page. Hacking a website and changing it is not difficult, but you will need to know what you are doing or you could end up having some pretty bad results. Some of the things that you might want to consider if you are wondering how to hack a website and change it includes finding out if there is any type of cross-site scripting.
If the hackers already have some knowledge of the programming language that the website is using. Another thing to consider is if there is any type of cross-browser compatibility issue between the website and one of the different browsers that support the script that is being used on the website. Then, if you have the right information on the file that needs to be hacked, you will be able to find all of the information that you need to carry out the hacking process successfully.
IMPORTANT NOTICE**: If you ever need the service of a hacker to hack any website or for any other hacking service, send an email to [[email protected]]

2023.03.24 07:02 Vegas_off_the_Strip Question Regarding Motivation and perceived Dopamine issue

Guys, I'm trying to get myself performing at a higher as I once did. I have dealt with chronic pain for a number of years as the result of a back injury that required surgery. I'm pretty sure my bodies strategy to prevent me from exacerbating the back injury was to just turn off the dopamine production.
However, I also was eating like shit and drinking a bit too much and my sleep was atrocious.
I've got my back fixed and my diet is greatly improved, the drinking has stopped and the sleep is better (but not perfect).
My question is what would you guys recommend as a supplement regimine to get my system working in such a way that I have the motivation to do things and the focus and mental stamina to see it through.
Here is what I'm thinking so far but would love to get some expert advice on what I am missing or what could be improved. I'm including my thoughts on why I'm using each:
L-Tyrosine: This is a precursor to dopamine and helps give your body the natural ingredients to make it. This must still be converted to dopamine so this does not cause dopamine downregulation. It can help to take a few supplements that help with the nuerotransmitters to get this converted; those are listed below.
Zinc: Zinc is important for the nuerotransmitters used in the dopamine system.
Pyridoxal Phosphate (P5P): is the active form of B6 and your body uses it in the sythesis of Dopamine and Seratonin.
Creatine: For both brain and energy
5HTP: Also a precursor to Dopamine and Seratonin. I'm unsure on this one. This will cause some people to have anxiety.
Omega 3 (DHA and EPA): These are the most essential fish oils for the brain; DHA is most important for brain improvement so I'll do NOW DHA 500mg/EPA 250mg and probably take 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening.
Vit D3: D3 5,000 iu a day.
Probiotics: I take 'em daily but thinking of moving to each meal.
Healthy Dietary Fat: I eat a lot of fatty steak and am trying to eat in a deficit everyday to get weight down.
Mucuna Pruriens: I am ordering the NOW Dopa Mucana which is a 15% extract. I think I will use this on an as needed basis on days when the above does not seem to get me going unless that is a bad idea.
Magnesium: I take 800mg at bedtime. I am not planning on increasing this.
L-Theanine: I'll probably use this one close to bedtime and when drinking caffeine.
Gaba: I'm thinking I'll take this one at night time alongside L Theanine.
I think this is everything I've got en route. What else would you guys suggest, what would you change?

2023.03.24 06:55 Sitalaks-hmi-1963 How to Study Smart: 10 Scientific Ways for School Students to Learn Faster

Would you like to learn faster and remember more? This is usually the number one struggle for most students. When studying is poor or ineffective, the consequences are usually low self-esteem and low grades. Today, we’re here to help you improve and crack the code on how to study smarter. Here are some evidence-backed learning strategies for school students that will not only increase how fast you study but also how well you do so. Be sure to put them to work today.
  1. Visualize concepts
Visualization entails the representation of content- usually in textual content- into visual cues or representations. Various studies indicate that visualization can offer huge benefits in terms of avoiding cognitive overload which happens when you learn too much information at once. Moreover, research shows you can improve learning ability or comprehension by up to 400x through visualization.
So how do you visualize when studying? This entails drawing:
Besides representing data in visual form, you can also visualize text by way of flow charts to make them easier and faster to recall.
  1. Study with music
Nothing so loud that the windows shake. Instead, a soothing tune can help you relax and focus. But don’t just take our word for it. Consider the research by Florida National University, which finds that the right music can elevate cognitive abilities by activating the brain’s two spheres.
Additionally, music can act as a multisensory “exercise” for your brain, thus sharpening your ability to concentrate. As a general rule of thumb, research finds that instrumental music is usually the most effective for studying. String instruments in particular can have amazing results, but generally, you want to avoid verbose or fast-paced songs which can become too distracting and get in your way instead.
  1. Say it out loud
Are you a silent reader? Silent reading is no doubt fast, but if you want to learn more effectively, you want to embrace effective study habits for students such as saying things out loud.
Studies by the University of Waterloo vouch for the effectiveness of reading information aloud, stating that this simple habit can:
  1. Test yourself regularly
You don’t need to wait around till test time at your school to write an exam. Learn to regularly test yourself throughout the school year, in addition to examination times.
That’s because several students have substantiated the benefits of regular testing, as one of the most reliable ways to improve memory retention and your ability to grasp or comprehend new concepts.
  1. Space your sessions
Don’t wait till the last moment before an exam to read and re-read concepts over and over. Instead, science recommends that you should wait at least 6 hours before going over the same concept.
Some more tips from the American Psychological Association in this regard, include:
Spacing out sessions can improve long-term memory as opposed to cramming things in quick, relentless succession.
  1. Write notes
Do you take notes while studying? According to several studies by US universities, our critical thinking skills and long-term memory go up a notch when we write information down more than when we don’t. That’s because the more you jot things down, the higher the level of neural activity in your brain.
Therefore, writing things down by pen is one of the simplest yet important study techniques for students that you would do well to inculcate into your habits.
  1. Interleave studies
Interleaving is the process of learning several concepts or subjects sequentially as opposed to focusing on just one skill set, subject, or topic (a study process called “blocked practice”). According to an Educational Psychology report, interleaving is one of the most proven scientific learning techniques and has been substantiated to hold the following benefits
  1. Study before bed
Sleep is a powerful thing for the human mind and body. When you study concepts right before you sleep, you can tap into the power of what the experts refer to as ”sleep-dependent memory consolidation.”
While research placed the most effective study times to be between late morning through early afternoon periods, consistently reading before bed has been proven to bode well for long-term memory and can also help lower your chances of experiencing cognitive illnesses such as Alzheimer’s. That’s not to say you should push all your study sessions to before bedtime. But rather, work on your weak points before going to bed for the day to give the knowledge enough time to simmer as you slumber.
  1. Learn outside, occasionally
Studying in the outdoors is obviously not ideal as a full-time arrangement. However, do so occasionally and the results can be tremendous. In fact, going by research from the University of Arizona, studying outside offers many benefits in comparison to indoor learning, namely:
Moreover, researchers found that 20 minutes spent outdoors can naturally boost your body’s energy by the equivalent of a cup of coffee, helping you to be more attentive when you study.
  1. Teach others
Sometimes, the best way to learn is to teach. Research by the University of Washington finds just as much, in what scientists today call the protégé effect. It basically finds that you’re bound to put more effort into mastering a concept if you know you’re going to be demonstrating your knowledge to someone else.
Therefore, strive to teach those at a lower knowledge level than you, and also to learn from others who might explain concepts differently, in a way that might be easier to comprehend than the initial information delivery.
Study hard and smart!
Most want to master study techniques for students so they can spend less time studying. However, there really is no substitute for hard work. You just have to put in the work to get good grades. But knowing how to study smarter will always make things a lot easier for you. Planning ahead is also key so that you’re not pressed for time and have to rush through your studies. Additionally, group studying is also an excellent way to comprehend difficult concepts faster.

2023.03.24 06:44 Different-Shake8462 Cuentas ($CUEN) announces a 1-for-13 reverse stock split.

Cuentas, Inc a leading fintech provider of the mobile financial app and payment solutions, today announced that the company's Board of Directors has approved a reverse stock split of its shares of common stock at a ratio of 1 for 13 (the "Reverse Stock Split"). The Reverse Stock Split will become effective at 12:01 a.m. Eastern time on March 24, 2023 and the Company's common stock will open for trading on The Nasdaq Capital Market on a post-split basis on March 24, 2023 under the Company's existing trading symbol "CUEN". At such time, the Company's common stock will also commence trading under a new CUSIP number 229794300.
At the effective time of the Reverse Stock Split, every thirteen (13) shares of Cuentas common stock issued and outstanding will be combined into one (1) share of common stock issued and outstanding, with no change to the par value of $0.001 per share. This will reduce the Company's outstanding common stock from approximately 27.1 million shares to approximately 2.1 million shares. Fractional shares resulting from the Reverse Stock Split will be rounded up to the nearest whole share, and all currently issued shares of common stock held by a shareholder shall be aggregated for the purpose of determining whether the Reverse Stock Split would result in the issuance of a fractional share. The Reverse Stock Split will also result in an adjustment to the number of shares of common stock issuable upon exercise of the Company's outstanding equity awards and warrants and a corresponding adjustment to the exercise prices of such securities. The actual number of warrants issued and outstanding will not be adjusted as a result of the Reverse Stock Split (i.e., each one (1) warrant will be exercisable into one-thirteenth of a share of common stock following the Reverse Stock Split).
Stockholders of record holding physical certificates representing pre-split shares of the Company's common stock as of the effective date may contact the Company's transfer agent, Olde Monmouth Stock Transfer Co., Inc. if they would like to exchange their certificate for a new certificate representing the post-split share amount. While this is not required, your physical certificate will contain the old CUSIP number and will not be transferrable until it is exchanged for a new certificate. Registered stockholders holding pre-split shares of the Company's common stock electronically in book-entry form are not required to take any action to receive post-split shares. Stockholders owning shares via a broker, bank, trust or another nominee will have their positions automatically adjusted to reflect the Reverse Stock Split, subject to such broker's particular processes, and will not be required to take any action in connection with the Reverse Stock Split.

2023.03.24 06:42 MickeyBTSV Anyone done a psychological assessment/IQ testing?

So I saw a psychologist a couple weeks ago and underwent a psychological assessment like an IQ test. Majority of it was verbal, that is he'd ask me a question and I'd answer, I didn't read anything. Things like sort a list of numbers into ascending order or maths equations like John has 62 apples and 4 kids kind of deal, and others I can't remember. Well my working memory score only came to 73 (average is 100) and total IQ of 105. I've completed computer based IQ tests in the past where I can see and read the questions and not have to remember what was said as I could reread the question and I've gotten an IQ result of 125.
My psychologist never heard of Aphantasia before and once I explained it and he looked it up he said "well that makes total sense and that's why you had trouble with some aspects of the test and probably why the two results are so different".
Just wondering if anyone else with Aphantasia has encountered similar?

2023.03.24 06:38 CNicRoute Salary requirements too high?

I had a phone screening and told the HR rep that my salary reqs were between $150-160k. I’m interviewing for a product manager position. She said the salary max is $110k at the point, but they are still confirming the numbers so it’s not set in stone.
I think the interview went well otherwise and she promised to follow up next week with next steps. Did I fudge on not anticipating the budget for this position would be lower since it’s not a FAANG, MA, etc? At this point, I’d be willing to accept a lower salary especially since they are looking to extend an offer early next month. Thoughts?

2023.03.24 06:33 YodaJedi1973 Do you think 4% GDP investment in R&D will make India a leader in Science and Tech? Or we also need a "tech geek culture" at grassroots level?

I am an IITian and I have done research and teaching in science & tech for many years in IIT and US. IMO, funds and facilities is not the reason India is behind. In fact most scientists in developed world are as middle class as ours and don't even have subsidized housing like ours do.
First, I will share one fun fact: I have been part of India's incredible software journey from 0 to a world leader. And that happened despite no Govt support or computer infra. Why?
Because we, the people, wanted to. We were willing to surmount any challenge "without blaming the system" and kept marching ahead.
No doubt, we do have some great researchers, however most are comfortable in a 9 to 5 job and publishing "good enough" papers once in a while. Most don't have great "lab" skills either because of "Yeh to labour ka kaam hai" mindset (and don't want to dirty their hands).
Contrast that with "tech geek" culture I experienced in US where many researchers love their research like a hobby and can even binge on it on a Friday night, just like many binge on Netflix.
In some cases there was no funding available to buy instruments and existing defunct ones were refurbished. They are not satisfied unless the results produced are excellent. Why settle with an "Ambassador" car when one can have a "FortuneR" (or put your favorite car here) ?
What is a "geek culture"? It means that there is a community of a sizable number of "geeks" (passionate enthusiasts) in society who take their hobby to the next level by constantly exploring and sharing new ideas. They not only have theoretical knowledge but also have great practical DIY (Do it Yourself) skills relevant to their field.
Social media is a great indicator of what a country is passionate about by observing their popular themes. India has many top notch YouTube channels in areas of entrepreneurship/dance/comedy supported by a thriving community of geeks, and one can easily draw the conclusion that India is a global leader in these areas.

Now here is a question for all of us: How many top science research channels are there from India that make science fun and promote innovation?
A few examples of such channels from abroad are Veritasium/Mark RobePhysics Girl and BPS.Space. They are supported by a thriving community of geeks and sometimes their videos have more than 100K comments! They passionately discuss their ideas and its like entertainment for them!
I am not pro-foreign or want to sow seed of despair. As a patriotic Indian, I am rooting for our scientists to do well.
But we can learn from good examples from anywhere in world, and not bury our head in sand.
No Govt program, ideology (including patriotism), our ancient glory, or changing education system can make India a leader in tech unless many of us pursue excellence as pleasure.
As a parent, have you had a child who would move mountains to binge on web series or playing video games? No restrictions can discourage them from the pleasure they seek. We need more folks like these children who can binge on research instead (like Tony Stark from Avengers).
India will change if we change. If I change. If many of us change.
Will we change?
"Na karne ke sau bahaane, karne ka sirf ek"

Fun Fact 2: Education systems around the world are more or less similar to ours on paper, and people outside crib about it as well, just like we do. In fact, hasn't the same education system produced greats like Ramanujan, CV Raman, Chandrashekhar, JC Bose, Khorana?
Fun Fact 3: When I used to do research at IIT, most folks used to complain that "there is no funding". Reality was that in general many instruments were just lying around in non-maintained state and no one knew or were interested in learning to repair them. This was the state of affairs in other premier research organizations as well.
I had a post doc colleague who was exceptional - for one of his new experiments, a special device was needed which was not available. He looked at its blueprint in a research paper and built it on his own in the machine lab! But such people are rare and we need more like him.
Fun Fact 4: when I first went to US, our research advisor told my American colleague and me that there was no funding for buying instruments worth $200K needed for our project. But there was an old, non-working one from 1960s we could use if we repaired it! I was dejected when I heard that - how can this be happening in America! But my colleague kept my spirits high and took the lead in repairing it. Over the next 3 months, we diagnosed the problems, designed a high voltage controller by referencing various books, and built it by sweating away in machine lab and scavenging free electrical parts. The instrument was working again and we had spent less than $100! This was an eye opening experience for me and didn't even know something like this could be done!
There is a misconception that funding abroad is better - there are similar challenges as ours.

INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS
Nothing particularly notable, just a bunch of politicians from across the country that they invited. See debates if you want details.
PRESENTING PETITIONS
Betty Nippi-Albright (NDP) 1:42:00
Presents a petition signed by residents of Saskatoon that calls for duty-to-consult legislation to be enacted. The petitioners are concerned that without this legislation in place, the government is responsible for recognizing when the duty-to-consult is triggered, which has resulted in a lack of engagement with Indigenous communities and lost court battles. The petitioners request that the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan call on the Government of Saskatchewan to immediately stop the sale of Crown lands and enact meaningful duty-to-consult legislation. 90% of crown land has already been sold.
Terry Dennis (SaskParty) 1:43:17
The federal government is infringing on their rights. Wants the Sask First policies.
*NOTE: This is the daily unfounded constitutional challenge that they bring.
Vicki Mowatt (NDP) 1:44:28
Ms. Mowat presents a petition signed by residents of Wilkie that calls for the Government of Saskatchewan to fix the rural health care staffing crisis. The petitioners are concerned about the recruitment and retention of health care professionals in Saskatchewan's rural health care facilities, which has led to disruptions in emergency room, acute, lab, and X-ray services. The petitioners request that the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan call on the Government of Saskatchewan to address the staffing crisis.
STATEMENTS BY MEMBERS
Vicki Mowatt (NDP) 1:48:39
Bringing awareness to multiple myeloma.
Alana Ross (SaskParty) 1:46:59
Tribute to Himboldt Broncos and an intro to a local from her riding. He presented the team and and ems/first responders last year.
Nathaniel Teed (NDP) 1:48:26
Speaks about dedication and passion of the Ukrainian Museum of Canada and its staff, volunteers, and community members. He highlights the importance of the museum's artifacts and how they remain relevant today. Mr. Teed was invited to give remarks at the opening of a new exhibit at the museum, which remembers the discriminatory reality of Canada's detainment policies during World War I. He mentions that thousands of Ukrainians were among those held in internment camps across Canada and forced to work in a country they did not know. He also connects current events, such as Putin's unprovoked invasion of Ukraine.
Terry Jenson (SaskParty) 1:49:40
Talks about 5000 people in Warman joining for a cheerleading event.
Gary Grewal (SaskParty) 1:51:15
Talks about his visit to the Regina Trades and Skills last fall.
Fred Bradshaw (SaskParty) 1:52:47
Talks about some people joining the winter games this past winter.
Muhammad Fiaz (SaskParty) 1:54:01
Starts by saying “Members opposite won’t want to hear it, but we have good news from our economy”. He says that urban starts in Saskatchewan for Feb 2023 are up 76% from last year, and claims that the best in the country. He also says more people are choosing to move here because we are the most stable on the planet.
*NOTE: I didn’t bother fact checking this, but a year ago were pandemic measures, short supply of building materials etc. It’s a dishonest metric from the start. And to start out inflammatory… strange. His entire speech is ridiculous, especially when you consider our worst in country outmigration and migration retention rates.
QUESTION PERIOD
Health Care Staffing and Provision of Emergency Care 1:55:30
Vicki Mowatt, Nathaniel Teed (NDP) vs Paul Merriman (SaskParty)
Mowat accuses the government of failing on the economy and health care, citing the closure of the emergency room at Regina General Hospital in Regina. She questions whether the people of Regina should expect such failures when it comes to their emergency care.
Merriman’s excuse is there are always ebbs and flows within the health care system and that officials have told him the pressure at the Regina General has been alleviated. He also cites that Saskatoon emergency was shut down over the weekend as well.
He also mentions that the government is working on a human resource plan to ensure that people in Saskatchewan receive the health care they deserve. Mowat argues that health care workers are sounding the alarm and that the disaster at the Regina General should never have happened, and quotes the president of the Saskatchewan Union of Nurses (SUN) as saying that there is not enough time, capability, or staff to provide safe patient care in most facilities in the province.
Mowat questions the Minister of Health's responsibility for the state of health care and demands that he take action to ensure that such incidents never happen again. The Minister responds by stating that he met with SUN and other stakeholders to discuss the government's four-point plan to address the issue. He also cites the government's efforts to hire more doctors and nurses and to expand the scope of health care providers in the system. Mowat insists that the government's HR plan is not enough and that it is not working. She criticises the government's 15-year record and accuses it of refusing to take responsibility for its failures.
She also questions why the Minister of Health is not listening to nurses and local voices in health care and demands that he work to find real solutions to the crisis in emergency rooms. She says that he shut down a request for a task force to address these issues. The Minister responds by stating that he meets with unions and other groups regularly to incorporate their ideas into the government's plan. He emphasises that the government is working to meet the needs of people in Saskatchewan and will never take their health care for granted.
Teed describes a retired nurse from his riding who had to lay on the floor having a medical emergency. She couldn’t get an ambulance and called family to say goodbye. Merriman responds by he has met with the ambulance providers and went for coffee with them. Teed fires back saying no one should wait an hour for an ambulance, and people are getting hurt.
\NOTE: The tomorrow measures Merriman cites have been deemed not enough by the provincial auditor. They use the same excuse week after week, but the results appears to get work, considering that ERs are closed in our largest cities. He mentions this 4 point plan, and cites the number of nurses and doctors that he’s bring in, but it’s all bandaids, and it’s fewer than we should have previously had. The plan is very late.*
Jennifer Bowes, Matt Love (NDP) vs Dustin Duncan (SaskParty)
Access to childcare spaces
Bowes expresses concern about the crisis in the healthcare system and the rushed announcement of a $10-a-day childcare policy, and didn’t take the time to get things right to get headlines. She argues that parents who rely on part-time care should not be collateral damage in the minister's desire to score a great headline. Bowes questions whether the Duncan will work with childcare workers to ensure that no one loses their space as a result of the announcement. Duncan responds by assuring that no spaces will be cut, and he emphasizes that he got this deal done 3 years early. Bowes continues to press for answers, stating that the government needs to listen to parents and childcare providers who stand to lose access to their spots. She argues that a one-size-fits-all approach does not work for working moms in Saskatoon and Whitewood. Duncan questions the opposition's inconsistent stance on the policy and its impact on the economy.
\NOTE Duncan’s comment about the NDP being inconsistent is nothing but absurd. He is still positioning this as his achievement, but reality is he accepted the $10 a day, he didn’t work for it at all. I also didn’t fact check school funding numbers.. It’s clearly underfunded regardless.*
Funding for education
Matt Love (NDP) vs Dustin Duncan (SaskParty)
Love chimes up that Prairie Valley School division has now started a charity to continue to keep their school running. Duncan insists that he has foundations in place to keep the schools going, and his side of the isle laughs out loud at Love, then he claims Saskatchewan is the highest spending on education in the country. Love returns back that he asked about this funding in 2020, and Duncan told him “We are not going to rely on bake sales to ensure that we have a continuation of a safe return to work” and asks how bottle drives compare as a funding method. Duncan again insists that they’re giving a lot of money to schools, and asks if Love doesn’t want people with a lot of money to help fund the schools, and cites the Brownlee family (may be spelled wrong, I don’t know who they are.)
Government Support for Harm Reduction 2:18:15
Vicki Mowatt (NDP) vs Everette Hindley (SaskParty)
Latest overdose numbers, 103 deaths in two months this year, same as all of 2016. This conversation happens daily. Hindley says that they have a going forward plan of additional funding. Mowatt continues to press for immediate action, Hindley justifies the money that has been spent but doesn’t address the current record, but has a going forward plan.
ORDERS OF THE DAY
Bill No. 109 — The Trespass to Property Amendment Act, 2022 2:22:00
Nicole Sarauer (NDP)
Says that they have put very serious concerns on the record about the bill, how it would affect stakeholders. She brings up the premiers tweet about federal workers going on to private property and calls it a redundant bill since people already need to abide by these laws. Cites concerns from Saskel, SaskEnergy and highways workers who are concerns about the rhetoric and their safety.
Bill No. 116 — The Plant Health Act 2:25:06
Vicki Mowatt (NDP)
Notes importance of pest control in agriculture. She is leaving more questions to their critic.
Bill No. 117 — The Saskatchewan Firearms Act 2:27:45
Betty Nippi-Albright (NDP)
Cites her experience of her husband being shot by an illegal firearm, as well as being an indigenous person who relies on firearms for their way of life. She shares the concerns of FSIN regarding lack of consultation. She wants more consultation with impact communities.
Bill No. 118 — The Warrant Compliance Act 2:34:32
Vicki Mowatt (NDP)
She agrees with powers to the police to help find violent reoffenders. Again raises concerns about who is a repeat violent offender, there are definitions missing, and she is concerned about unintended consequence for families, especially kids.
Bill No. 122 — The Saskatchewan Revenue Agency Act 2:37:56
Doyle Vermette (NDP)
Asks why they are doing this, he’s been asking every reading but isn’t getting an answer. Says there was no consultation, and now business will need to file two taxes, one provincial one federal. No answers provided. He cites the cost of a new crown, and says that he has heard ministers in the Saskparty say that they can raise taxes, and they’ll still get voted in. And when the result is negative, they’ll say something about the liberal ndp federal government and put their hand out begging for federal dollars.
Bill No. 124 — The Alcohol and Gaming Regulation Amendment Act 2:45:38
Jennifer Bowes (NDP)
Cites once again there are mixed responses from stakeholders, and wants the government to consult.
Bill No. 126 — The Summary Offences Procedure Amendment Act, 2022 2:52:58
Nathanial Teed (NDP)
He’s happy about allowing first nations to enforce their own laws, bylaws, summar offense tickets, time limits. He’s in favour.

2023.03.24 06:31 beyond-thewreckage I might have to take a “sober job”.

I have been trying to sober up since January and lost my job as a result of my initial withdrawals (detoxed at home, like an idiot, and was bedridden for 5 days). My employer didn’t appreciate me calling out for no reason for a full week and fired me.
Admittedly, due to mental health and the seemingly endless number of relapses I’ve had, I have been dogshit at job searching. Mediocre at best and that’s being generous. I haven’t been taking it as seriously as I should and I know that. My girlfriend bailed me out last month but I still haven’t paid March rent, and my landlord finally came knocking today.
My sponsor knows someone that works at Mod Pizza near me and is trying to connect me with a job there as a temporary fix. I need help getting over my ego. Since I was 15, I have only ever worked at law firms. I was a litigation paralegal making over $100k a year before I was fired this year. I have never had a service industry job and quite frankly, for selfish and shallow reasons, I am terrified.
I mean no disrespect by this as I have friends and loved ones that work retail, food service, etc. It’s just my ego that’s getting in the way. Fear of an ex coming in for food and having to serve them and deal with their judgment. Fear of hating myself for getting to this point. Fear of never being able to break back into the legal industry.
Seeking advice and words of support about getting a “sober job”. I know it is temporary but I am angry, sad, and frustrated. I hate alcohol.

2023.03.24 06:29 akiboi_87 Pls explain Devil Dinosaur to me!

Hey can someone pls explain the logic of Devil Dinosaur to me? I know the power you get from it is based on the other cards that you’ve played. But the results seem to vary quite a bit. For example in my last game, at one location my opponent had played Devil’s Dinosaur and I had played it too. However they received 17 points and me only 9! Not the most reliable card when you need an exact number or power to win!

2023.03.24 06:27 Comfy-Parrot AI introduction on Randonautica by Chat GPT

"Hi! I'd like to go on an adventure with my brother using the app Randonautica. can you write a summary on how it works and simplify the terms of service?"
Sure, I'd be happy to help!
Randonautica is a smartphone app that generates random coordinates for you to explore in your local area. The app uses a quantum random number generator to produce these coordinates, which are intended to lead you on an adventure and help you discover new and interesting things in your surroundings.
To use the app, you simply select your desired location radius and generate a point. You can then follow the directions to the generated location and explore the area. Some users report finding interesting things like hidden sculptures, abandoned buildings, and other unexpected discoveries.
As for the terms of service, here's a simplified summary:
You must be at least 18 years old to use the app.
The app is for personal use only and cannot be used for commercial purposes.
You are responsible for your own safety while using the app and exploring the generated locations.
The app collects some personal information from users, but this information is kept confidential and is only used for the purpose of improving the app.
The app is provided on an "as is" basis and the creators are not responsible for any damages or losses that may occur as a result of using the app.
"What are some random examples of events that gained attention with the public?"
  1. In August 2020, a group of teenagers in Seattle used Randonautica to generate coordinates and ended up finding a suitcase containing human remains on a beach. The case gained national attention and is still under investigation.
  2. Another user reported finding a strange metal box in the woods while using Randonautica, which contained a handwritten note that appeared to be a list of names and dates. The user said they felt uneasy and quickly left the area.
  3. Some users have reported feeling as though they are being watched or followed while exploring coordinates generated by the app. In some cases, they have seen strange figures or heard unexplained noises.
  4. A user in the UK reported finding a set of stairs leading to nowhere in the middle of a field, which they said felt eerie and out of place.
It's worth noting that some of these experiences may be explained by natural phenomena or coincidence, and that the app itself does not necessarily cause strange or paranormal events. However, the stories of unusual encounters associated with Randonautica have certainly added to the app's mystique and popularity.
"Can you tell me about positive experiences with Randonautica?"
Yes, there have been many positive experiences reported by users of the Randonautica app. Here are some examples:
  1. Self-discovery: Many users have reported using the app to explore new areas of their city or town, and in the process, they have discovered new things about themselves. This could be anything from realizing that they enjoy nature more than they thought, to discovering an interest in art or architecture.
  2. Bonding with friends: Randonautica is often used as a fun activity to do with friends, and many users have reported feeling closer to their friends after a successful randonauting adventure. It can be a great way to bond and create new memories together.
  3. Finding hidden gems: Users have also reported finding interesting and beautiful places they would have never discovered otherwise, such as hidden parks, beautiful murals, or scenic views.
  4. Overcoming fears: Some users have used the app as a way to confront their fears or challenge themselves. For example, a user with a fear of heights may generate a location that requires them to climb to a high point, and successfully doing so can give them a sense of accomplishment and help them overcome their fear.
  5. Serendipitous experiences: Finally, many users have reported serendipitous experiences while using the app, such as meeting new people, finding lost items, or experiencing moments of synchronicity that feel like they were meant to happen. These experiences can be very positive and affirming.
Of course, as with any app that involves exploring unfamiliar places, it's important to take necessary safety precautions and use common sense while using Randonautica. But for many users, it has been a fun and positive way to explore the world around them.
Thanks for asking Chat GPT!

DuoTrim Reviews Reddit : What Real Users Are Saying About This Weight Loss Supplement

DuoTrim is a powerful new fatloss formula designed to help you quickly and safely lose weight. It primarily functions by improving your gut health, which is key for overall health and weight management.
DuoTrim Reviews
DuoTrim is a new fatloss formula designed to help virtually anyone lose weight, burn fat, and achieve their fatloss goals faster.
It claims to be the only “dual-action” gut health supplement designed to help you lose weight and keep it off. By taking their product daily, you can purportedly rev up your metabolism, burn fat, improve your digestion and immunity, and ultimately, improve your overall health.
If you’re looking for a natural, safe solution to help you lose weight, are stuck in a fatloss plateau, or are only beginning your fatloss journey, then DuoTrim may be right for you.

What is DuoTrim Exactly?

As we briefly mentioned before, DuoTrim is a powerful new fatloss formula designed to help you quickly and safely lose weight. It primarily functions by improving your gut health, which is key for overall health and weight management.
In fact, according to recent studies, if you suffer from frequent digestive issues or are experiencing unexpected weight gain, then your gut health is likely responsible for your issues. This is why maintaining a healthy gut biome is essential to keep your body healthy. DuoTrim is designed to do exactly this.
Best of all, using DuoTrim is very easy. Simply take two capsules from DuoTrim Burn in the morning. Then, you should take one capsule from DuoTrim Active before bed so you can maintain your healthy metabolism before bed.
This easy, two-step system will supercharge your gut health, boost your metabolic function, and curb your cravings to put you in the absolute best position to lose weight safely.

How Does DuoTrim Really Work?

DuoTrim is a fatloss supplement designed to help you “lose weight from the inside out”. It’s considered both a fatloss supplement and gut health supplement because these are the primary benefits associated with using the product.
To help you lose weight, DuoTrim primarily works in two ways:
It provides your body with key strains of bacteria to support a healthy gut biome
Over the last few years, dozens of studies have discovered a clear link between gut microbiome and weight management. It has become clear that an unhealthy gut can and most likely will lead to weight gain, digestive issues, and an insatiable appetite. This is why improving your gut biome is key to managing your weight.
Thankfully, this is exactly the primary mechanism behind DuoTrim. It contains several strains of bacteria that are proven to support digestion and to keep your gut biome intact. These bacteria also help to kill the bacteria that impede your digestion and the production of enzymes needed for your body to break down fat and to influence your metabolism.
Although simple, supplying your body with these key strains of bacteria is essential to your digestive health, weight, and for your overall health. Within weeks, these good bacteria will reenergize your body and mind by eliminating all of the bad bacteria slowing down your body.
It supplies your body with fiber to help you feel fuller for a longer period of time
While providing your body with these key bacteria is important, it’s only one piece of the puzzle. You have to ensure that these bacteria are fed with the right nutrients so they can thrive and keep your body health.
Thankfully, DuoTrim does just that. It contains several types of fiber that slow down your body’s digestion and the absorption of nutrients. This prevents the further accumulation of fat and helps maintain steady, proper digestion.
In addition, this also helps prevent hunger pangs by helping you feel fuller for a longer period of time. No longer will you suffer from dealing with frequent hunger pangs or the insatiable desire to eat foods. You’ll feel full for hours after eating and limit your caloric intake so you can stay in a caloric deficit.

Main Benefits of DuoTrim

According to DuoTrim, there are numerous benefits to taking their product on a regular basis. Although it is known that a healthy gut biome can support virtually every aspect of your health, DuoTrim highlights some of the main benefits of their product, such as:
Rapid fat burn & appetite suppression: DuoTrim contains a number of ingredients that contain a number of different types of fiber. Fiber helps bind to water, created a thick gel-like substance that slows down the absorption of carbs and takes longer to digest. This gives you the feeling of fullness for a longer period of time, preventing overeating and hunger pangs.
Improved gut health: Both products in DuoTrim contain a unique blend of ingredients that are known to support gut health. By supplying your body with prebiotic and probiotic ingredients, DuoTrim helps your good bacteria thrive and eliminates the bad bacteria slowing your digestion and metabolic function.
Improved immunity: Research over the last decade has shown that a majority of your immune system is found in your gut. This is why maintaining a healthy gut biome is essential to your immune health. As your gut microbiome becomes healthier, you’ll likely find your immune system function is improving.

Ingredients in DuoTrim

DuoTrim contains proven prebiotic and probiotic ingredients designed to balance your gut and metabolic health. In total, there are five ingredients in DuoTrim, which include the following:
Acacia Gum: Acacia gum, is a dried gummy substance made from the sap of the Acacia tree. It’s often used to thicken beverages and enhance the texture in breakfast cereals. Studies have found that the water soluble fiber in Acacia gum can break down fat, improve digestion, supports wound healing, and may even promote oral health.
Agave Inulin: Agave inulin acts as a prebiotic ingredient, helping feed the good bacteria in your body. It is also a rich source of fiber, helping supporting your body’s ability to regularly digest the foods you eat. Some studies have shown agave inulin can increase the production of enzymes which break down fat cells in your body. It also reduces the secretion of liver enzymes that cause fat storage as well.
Flaxseed: Flaxseed is commonly used to improve digestive health or to relieve constipation. Studies have also found it may lower total blood cholesterol and reduce LDL cholesterol, which is the “bad” cholesterol. Flaxseed contains both soluble and insoluble fiber, which get fermented by the bacteria in your intestines to support gut health and to improve bowel regularity.
Guar Gum: Guar gum is a food additive that is readily found in the food supply. It’s made from guar beans, a type of legume. It is low in calories and mainly composed of soluble fiber, which helps support digestion. Since guar gum thickens and binds to water, it may slow the absorption of carbs, preventing blood sugar spikes. It also may help reduce appetite by making you feel fuller for a longer period of time.
Galacto-Oligosaccharides: Galacto-oligosaccharides are a type of prebiotic made of plant sugars. They’re commonly found in dairy products, beans, and some root vegetables. Their main function is to pass undigested into the colon where they increase bowel mass and promote the growth of certain bacteria that improve digestion and metabolic function.
Probiotic Bacteria: To balance your gut biome, you need certain bacteria present in your gut. Thankfully, DuoTrim contains a unique blend of several different types of bacteria in the lactobacillus, bifido, and bacillus family. When added to your gut biome, these bacteria assist with healthy fatloss.

Side Effects of DuoTrim – Is it Safe?

DuoTrim wasn’t only intended to be an effective fatloss supplement, it was designed to be safe too. That’s why as of this writing, there have not been any reports of any side effects while using this product.
This is not to say that side effects cannot occur – only that they have not occurred yet. Any supplement can cause headache, nausea, indigestion, or constipation. However, the likelihood you experience any of these side effects is incredibly low while using DuoTrim.
Keep in mind that although DuoTrim is predominately safe, it still may not be right for everyone. For example, if you are pregnant or nursing, then it is not recommended you use DuoTrim, or any fatloss supplement for that matter.
Likewise, this product is only intended for adults. Therefore, you should not use this product if you are under the age of 18 nor should you give it to your child.

2023.03.24 06:11 Xerxan Anyone know a good vanilla'ish follower appearance overhaul?

I don't mean a skin/body pack of anything like that. On that front, I'm using Bella Beauty and the Beasts Bundle (real great).
I'm looking for a VERY simple follower appearance overhaul... and I'm having trouble finding one. I'm currently using Tragedian's Fabulous Followers, which is great - I really am not a fan of the anime-looking ovehauls and the super gorgeous flowing KS hair in some follower appearance overhauls, and Fabulous Followers is a very good 'normal' looking alternative.
But I was wondering if anyone knows of an even simpler style mod? One that uses no new assets (fabulous followers does) and basically is just a mod that edits the followers to look better using vanilla tools.
The closest I've found are Axface's mods: https://mods.bethesda.net/en/skyrim?author_username=Axeface&number_results=20&order=desc&page=1&platform=XB1&product=skyrim&sort=published&text=mjoll%20face
BUT, they've only done like three companions and each companion overhaul is a seperate mod. Is there something out there along Axface's facelift mods, but a bundle that does that for ALL vanilla followers?

2023.03.24 06:10 CryoChamber10 I have 3 easy legal questions.

Hi, I have 3 easy legal questions. I just want some more perscpetive on this and advice.
  1. I used a fake utility bill to provide a proof of residnce for my free checkings account. I didn't defraud or steal or take a loan out from the bank. I only used the bank account to receive money from my jobs and cash out at ATMs. I'm in San Diego CA. What is the possible legal consequence of this? Can someone provide me with other cases which are exactly like mine (fake proof of residence, but not to defraud the bank)? I feel like I may get arrested soon and wish I could make it right.

  1. I want to grow a small amount of shrooms here in San Diego. If I'm caught, what is the exact punishment a judge would convict me with?
I've read the law that says its illegal (manufacturing a schedle 1 controlled substance), but I want to know what the actual sentencing results will be?
I don't have any prior arrests, first time offence, no intent to distribute or sell the shrooms, or transport them, just a small amount for personal use, no guns or minors in apartment, etc.

  1. I bought Bitcoin and sold it back to the Coinbase platform about 7 days after buying the BTC. I got a new phone number and email and have tried every day for weeks, calling in several times a day to get the exact days and prices I bought/sold BTC for. Customer support is unable to or cannot help me recover my account. So how do I report my bitcoin taxable event to the IRS?
I just bought $100 BTC, and sold it 7 days later, I didn't even make like $5, I might have even lost money in the process, so I'm not trying to launder untaxed millions here like the politions do. So basically I can't report on my BTC sale because I don't have the info to do so, and the customer support will not help me because I don't have access to my old account. What should I do?

What exactly should I expect for these 3 cases? Thanks!

2023.03.24 06:09 Arinsuistoodamncute You guys should not be satisfied with the hackers that has been banned and thats why

tl;dr: Thats why bandai just banned some obvious hackers and not all hackers at all. We deserve more than that and report buttons are stupid.
Hi.
I'm here to explain why bandai didn't do the least it could have done to fight hackers, explaining some things that aren't clear to anyone who doesn't study or work in the area of data or networks. I will try to use a vocabulary that is easy to understand even if you are not from the area.
Topic 1: How to combat/prevent hackers
Part 1: Prevention:
There is a very basic method of preventing hacking and this is usually an inbound resource. It consists of creating a series of scripts that are called if the client (the player's game) tries to send some data that was predefined in the script. To allude, first, I'll create a hypothetical skill to serve as a reference:

Zoro (red attacker)OnigiriSkill 1: Deals 500 damage. 30 seconds cd.
Having this information in hand, we know that the aforementioned skill has a 30 second cd. Leaving aside mechanics present in the game that allow us to decrease the skill's cd (not to dwell too long on the topic), we could make a script like this:

if client Zoro_r_a(skill_1) cd is < than 30 then
keep data at !possible_hackers.db

in this example, if a player used a hack that reduced the time of the skill itself, the record would be automatically saved in a database that could be consulted later. It would make the player automatically banned, the game crash, etc... etc... the possibilities are there.

This method has a advantage and a disadvantage:
Advantage:
  1. Cost benefit: The script is automating much of the work. Once done, it becomes cheap. The script is automating much of the work. Once done, it becomes cheap and makes fighting against hackers viable.
Disavantage:
  1. The creation of the script becomes more and more complex according to the complexity and number of mechanics involved. If the game undergoes recurring updates, the script will also need to be updated with new variables and functions.
Can you imagine a company paying around 50 or more employees just to analyze player reports? Knowing that many of these reports are false negatives? Sounds unproductive and money wasted, right? Because of this, practically all serious game companies use this script example I mentioned. The only problem with this system is that, although it is cheaper to keep updating the script than to pay a bunch of employees to analyze reports... the programmers involved in the script will need to do the job properly so as not to end up banning someone unfairly, which can generate minor headaches (there was a recent case in league of legends where there was a script that sought to identify if someone was gaining more HP than normal and, if it was true, the person was banned. It turns out that the game released an item that made that and the company did not update the rate of the function variable. Result: A player was banned, unfairly, automatically by the system and this demonstrated Riot's incompetence and inattention in the media, it got bad).
But anyway, we are talking about one piece bounty rush here... and I have bad news: This type of system cannot be implemented in the current OPBR. Do you know why? Well, the game uses p2p (peer-to-peer) technology to host matches. This means that when the 8 players are paired, their devices become the match server itself. All information that happens in the match is stored, at the same time, in all devices. Has it ever seemed to you that the game's connection is a little fragile and, for any little thing, it already knocks you out of the game? Well, basically, that's why.
Including, it is precisely for this same reason that hackers manage to change the time of their abilities and their scope as well. The information is not on bandai's server.
> hey, but the data can be sent to bandai servers after the match endsIt's possible. As its possible to manipulate that data as well. Also, since our phones are the match server... of course, it is possible to have data encrypted, to meansure that it will not be manipulated such as range data and skill cd... but bandai isnt doing the basics that is ENCRYPTING THE SKILL AND RANGE DATA.
Part 2: Combat
This is the part I wanted to get to.
Did you know that one of the fastest growing areas in technology today is data modeling and analysis? So it is. While the area is growing and expanding, it's not new. Data analysis has always been used by games in their famous "ban waves". Unlike the script I mentioned, which automatically tries to find redflags and throws them to a database... The ban waves can be done by analyzing the data of matches saved in that database I mentioned back there, bringing a report ( if desired) to the operator and, after that, press the red ban wave button.
Combat needs the preventiong part to work so: F.
Topic 3: Report buttons
In short, nowadays it is much more practical, cheaper, efficient, with less chance of making mistakes, running a script that takes care of hackers than paying someone to analyze alleged hacker reports.
These days, report buttons work more to combat toxicity in games that use chat, and also to give the player the satisfaction of hitting "report!" on the colleague he doesn't like or on the supposed hacker, it was cheaper to answer support tickets.
So that's it, the support button here would only serve to make you more comfortable and resigned to the situation. You would be being cheated. Report buttons are USELESS AND SERVED TO UNDERESTIMATE YOUR INTELLIGENCE. IT CHARGES FOR A GAME WITH AN ANTI-HACK SYSTEM THAT WORKS, WITH A REAL SERVER, AND NOT FOR A BUTTON THAT WON'T HELP US AT ALL.
I decided to come and write this wall of text here because I'm following the case and I see that many do not understand how these things work. I love OPBR and I don't want it to be destroyed by hackers. We already had a breakthrough and to achieve more we need to be well informed.

2023.03.24 06:05 sapta99_streetbets Calculation of MF NAV

Let's say, there is a special 'Reliance mutual fund', which only invests in Reliance shares and the number of mutual fund units are in 1:1 proportion with the number of shares held by the fund. Meaning if I buy one unit in this MF, they will buy 1 Reliance share on my behalf and same for selling too. Also the NAV is same as the Reliance LTP and the TER is taken care of from the dividend.
Now let's say, currently this fund has 1Cr units with a particular large investor single-handedly having 50L units. If the Reliance is trading at 2300 at the moment, the current NAV is 2300 too and the AUM is 2300Cr.
Now if the 'large investor' places a redeem order for all of his units and the fund manager could sell 50L Reliance shares at an average price of 2200 during the day, but the Reliance goes back to 2300 at the end of the day, what will be the NAV in this scenario?
Case 1: the fund manager will tell the 'big investor' that the in spite of NAV being 2300 at the end of the day, his shares could be sold at an average price of 2200 and so he will get only 50Lx2200?
Case 2: Or the fund house will calculate its total asset as 50Lx2200 in cash and 50Lx2300 in equities for 1Cr units, resulting in NAV being 2250? But if they have to return the money in accordance with NAV, the figure comes out to be 50Lx2250. whereas they have only 50Lx2200 in cash. So how they will arrange 50Lx50? If the fund manager wants to sell more shares, then the other investors are losing money in this process and actually bearing the loss, which is not theirs. Also the NAV of the 'Reliance mutual fund' will lag by 50 points to the actual Reliance share from now on.
Any informative comment on this topic would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
