In the process of rebuilding after a divorce. I was a SAHM and then, due to lack of skills, could only find a part-time job until 18 months ago. I had to find a new place and live off of credit cards until I found a better job. I had all kinds of emergencies like transmission going out and having to eventually buy a new car, surgery and other high medical bills. Thankfully, I'm on the up and up now with a FT job making around 90k. No support from the ex with the kids, but oh well.
Now the issue is these interest rates have skyrocketed and they are killing me. I can't get in front of them. I have 3 at 29% and 1 more at like 25%. My credit scores range from 645 to 666. My payment history is awesome with only one late payment in the past 2 years.
I'm closing all but two. Total balance is around 20k. I don't want to file bankruptcy but that's all the advice I keep getting.
Personal loans seem really hard to get and the ones I've tried (Avant, OneMain) came back with 30% interest rates.
Maybe a second job? I'm open to all suggestions except bankruptcy.

So for context, you can read some of my other posts about my shitty and horrible childhood but I’m gonna touch on it a little more things to make sense. My mom was the baby sitter for my dad’s children (my now siblings) and their one night stand led to my mom getting pregnant. My aunt had just gotten her an apartment but when she asked about the pregnancy, my mom lied. So my aunt took her to the doctor and boom, 7 months. So my dad after finding out moved his family across town bc things became a liability for his lie. My grandparents didn’t think my mom could be a single mother so they moved her 10 hours away to stay with them and honestly that made my dad’s life easier. Anyway, when my mom got us a house, things were horrible. The house from hell ruined a good part of my life. I would always ask about my dad and my mom would scream IDK WHY YOU CARE!! HE HATES YOU EVEN MORE THAN I DO, IM JUST THE ONE THAT GOT STUCK WITH YOU! You know, normal mom shit. She also said if I ever contacted my dad, I would go to jail (????) I was literally like 6 but okay. So life goes on, and it felt like my dad finding me would be my golden ticket. I fucked myself up thinking he would come back for me, but he never did. I was kept out of the loop about everything. So in 7th grade, a little before school started, I never remembered the exact date bc I just blew this event off, it was super early in the morning, like as the sun was rising but like fully up above the horizon, I was sleeping and someone patted my legs to get me to scoot them over so it could sit on the side of my bed next to me. I remember not being scared. I just listened and moved my legs to the side. When it sat on my bed, I remember feeling the weight shift in the bed. I don’t remember what all was said but I remember at one point saying yeah and like scoffing a little in response to what it said. I wish for the life of me I could remember but you know how it is being half asleep. When I woke up later, I thought it was weird. I asked my mom if she came in my room early in the morning. She said why the fuck would I be in your room. Okay. I asked my stepdad (he worked night shifts) and he said he didn’t get home until 10am… Okay so was it a dream?? I ended up blowing shit off and surviving the life I was living. Now I didn’t have a phone until I was 15 so if I wanted to text my friends, I had to use my moms phone. This was sometime in October and I saw that she had texted my aunt that “[dad’s name] is dead.” I showed her and asked if she was talking about my dad. I got screamed at for even asking but she did confirm she was talking about my dad. She said he died in early august “or some shit.” Well I did some digging later in life and found out it was august 9th. Which would be around the same time that I had that encounter with that apparition. And if what they say is true about unfinished business, I can’t imagine any more unfinished business than a child you abandoned. Amends maybe? Maybe he saw my situation and home life and felt bad? The only other weird thing I had happen around that time was waking up with a red handprint on my chest… it was sideways, like the bottom of the palm was on my right breast, and the fingers straying over to my left breast. The pinky was closest to my neck and no matter how much I tried to recreate it, I couldn’t twist my hand up like that long enough to make an impression. Plus it was bigger than my hand… anyway, I’d love to hear what others think bc I’m 25 now and still can’t make sense of it.

Kallistus Kal had been patient.
He had bided his time— he had learned, and he had grown. He did everything right. But in return, he had only been tormented even further. He was never rewarded for his actions.

The Archmage King of Scholus called for a secret conference, and the Merfolk Empress began her final siege of Drazyl. A cowardly dragon hid beneath the earth, while the successor of the Grand Sage of Imbel Forest was forced to flee her home.
In the Frozar Mountains, an angel and a dragon sat down in a cold cavern and spoke for the first time in ten thousand years. They discussed things which had transpired since they had last seen each other— they talked grimly of the problems plaguing the planet, and they agreed that action had to be taken.
In Wolfwater, a blonde girl and a burly man sparred with each other on a farm as a chicken looked on. But unbeknownst to them, the blonde girl was being hunted down due to a case of mistaken identity.
And at the edge of Briar Glenn, a prisoner of war was freed from his captivity. After surviving weeks and weeks of torture, he could finally see the light of day again. All thanks to the help of a brown-haired woman. A… hero.
But, of course, she wasn’t actually a hero despite her heroics. Her name was Amelia, and she was just an ordinary restaurant owner.
Or at least, that was what she told herself.

Author's Notes: End of Book 2 of Amelia the Level Zero Hero! This book focused more on the slice of life aspect of the story which I feel like was lacking in Book 1. But... in retrospect, I think I leaned too hard into the slice of life this time around. I'll try to find a better balance in the next book which I am really looking forward to. Oh also, there will be about a ten day break until the next chapter drops for public. However, Patreon will continue to be updating chapters. In ROBLOX I get a lot of FPS like about 200 - 300 but sometimes it just comes down to 90 - 100 most of the time for no reason and it just lags my in-game camera and it feels like the camera is 40 FPS. My Graphics card is NVIDIA. I'm more confused because my computer is a very good computer.

Devil fruit: infinity infinity no mi.
Infinity: This ability is the neutral ability of his fruit and allows him to bring infinity to reality. I will explain the by using a number line and I will explain most of the other abilities with a number line. Think of Akito on 0 and you at 1. As you try to get closer to Akito, you seem to get stopped, but you are not actually getting stopped, but getting slowed down infinitely. This happens because as you get closer, the space between you and Akito keeps getting divided by two or split in half, but because of this, you will never actually reach Akito but just get very close.
Lapse blue: This ability allows Akito to create an anomaly which is like a black hole but blue. This black hole can be used to either pull people to him or when used more intently, it can be used to destroy people limbs by crushing them under the pressure of the black hole. Think of Akito at 0 and you at 5. This space between you two is positive because distance can’t be negative. Akito changes this by amplifying the negative numbers on the number line, which creates an anomaly. This anomaly is like a black hole and reality tries to pull itself back together together which creates the pulling that a black hole has.

• blue glow: This is a maximum version of lapse blue. It involves amplifying the negative numbers by a much greater amount putting much more energy into it which creates a bigger black hole. This lapse blue can then be shot out and controlled. Being bigger and much faster makes it a much more devastating attack.

Cursed reversal red: Akito takes his blue and reversed the technique to create red. This ability has the opposite power so instead of pulling it pushes. Think of Akito on a number line at 0 and your at 5 instead of amplifying the negative numbers he amplified the positive numbers between you and him. This create a small red ball which when used, creates a giant push which launches everything in front of him away.

• red glow: this ability is the maximum of red which instead of Akito launching the red, he puts it in between his two hands and compresses even smaller while adding more energy into it. When ready, he opens his hands and activated the ability, which creates that same pushing force bug in all directions and not just in front of him

Hollow purple: Hollow purple is created by combing red and blue. This create a purple ability because red and blue together makes purple. Sense the blue is negative and red is positive, adding them together creates nothing. So when the technique is fired, everything that is touches is erased or turned into nothing. This technique looks like lightning in his hand at first but then a purple ball appears in front of his hand. This can be blocked with either armament haki or conquers haki along with not being able to delete or even go through ocean water.

• purple glow: this just creates a much bigger and faster version of hollow purple.

Spiral yellow: this ability involves Akito creating a yellow swirl which looks like a drill made of white and yellow wind. The technique involves him using it so the point is facing what he is attacking. This attack is used like a drill and allows him to cut through most material. This happens because reality deletes it while it is trying to fix itself. Think of a number line where akito is at 0. You have the negative side on the left and positive side on the left. This ability is made when Akito amplifies both of them to the point where they switch places. This creates a anomaly which looks like a drill because reality is trying to spin itself back into place by flipping to the sides back into place. This creates a technique which can cut most things, even cursed energy.

• yellow glow: this ability just creates a much bigger and faster spinning spiral.

Lime green: This technique is made by combing spiral yellow and lapse blue. Think of Akito on a number line at 0. Negative numbers are on the left, positive numbers are on the right. Spiral yellow switch the two do negative is where positive was and positive is where negative was. This means that when you amplify the negative numbers using blue, they are on the right side meaning that an anomaly is not created from blue and it is only created from yellow. This brings negativity into reality without creating a black hole, but as a source of negative energy. This negative energy is a pure negativity, making it much stronger then cursed energy. This negative energy is shown as a lime green ball covered with electricity which when it hits something, create an explosion of pure negative energy in the form of a giant explosion.

• green glow: the look of the ability doesn’t change besides the fact that it is a little darker and it has more lightning. When it hits something the explosion is basically much bigger.

Natural orange: Natural orange is made by combing spiral yellow and reversal red to create orange. Think of Akito on a number line with him at zero. Negative is on the left and positive is on the right like normal. Yellow changes that and switches positive and negative so negative is on the right and positive is on the left. Akito then amplifies the negative numbers to create red, but sense red is on the left where blue normally is, reality thinks that it is a negative number being brought to reality so a anomaly is created but with red instead of blue. This creates the same pulling that blue does, but sense red is pushing and blue is pulling, it creates complete stillness. This creates a orange ball which can be shot at the enemy like a gun or from the palm of his hand. When it hits the enemy, it makes them hit completely still for a few seconds, or until another force hits their body which lets them move again. This only lasts for a few seconds on living things but can last for much longer on objects like weapons. Anything hit by this can start moving again if a strong enough force hits it so a small gust of wind will not let them move again.

• orange glow: when this ability is used, the size of the ball gets a tiny bit bigger. When it is fired, it is much faster and as it moves, it gets bigger but the biggest change is when it hits the enemy. When it hits the enemy, it causes a small explosion which makes everything in a small area still so it can hit multiple opponents.

Maximum, ultimate black: This is a technique which is created when Akito combines all of his abilities to create black. This is a giant black whole which is created on his back. He can then create a bunch of small balls, one fire, one water, one lightning, one wind, and all of his infinity moves. He can then either launch this like one giant attack or rapid fire a bunch of different attack at the enemy, ending with throwing the powerful black whole at them.
Teleportation: Say Akito is on a number line at 0, and he wants to get to a tree 30 feet away which is at 5. Akito would be able to use his infinity, which makes objects infinity slow by making the area between them infinity big, and reverse it. This now makes it so the space of infinity is now infinity small. He then brings infinity to reality all the way between him and the school, and reverses it, making it infinitely small so all he has to do is take a step and he is already their.

hi seniors i need some advice on what to do. i am interested in studying biotechnology/bioinformatics and plan to make a career out of it. This year I will probably get NIT Rourkela Biotechnology if not, NIT Calicut, Allahabad & Durgapur atleast.
As my educational info says, I messed up my JEE Advanced paper so no shot of being an IITian this year.
My dilemma rn is should I drop a year for IIT or go in whatever NIT I get through Jossa this year. Personally I am one of those people who are very obsessed with IITs, ik its a bad thing but i somehow never got over it. One part of me wants to go to college this year but another part of me also wants to drop this year as I know for a fact, if I go to college somewhere this thought will be always in the back of my mind that I might have made it to IIT if i dropped a year. I am ready to drop and give my 100% for another year if it means I will get a 2nd shot at IIT.
I know I should never form a decision about drop through someone else's opinions but I just wanted to hear the thoughts of you people, considering some of might be from the colleges I talked about it and also are in general more experienced than me.

I'm looking for an EV for my next car and it's almost frustrating how there is no EV that offers as much as the MYLR for $50k:

1. Faster than 5 sec. 0-60
2. Excellent sound system
3. Range above 300 miles
4. Heated seats and steering wheel
5. Tons of cargo space / frunk
6. Panoramic sunroof
7. AWD / dual motor

There are many similar SUVs that can offer all of these features, but it always seems to come off with a trade off of price or compromise.
Hell, the MYLR is the "boring" version of the MY, yet it's still faster than the AWD Ioniq 5 0-60. AND the Ioniq 5 is more expensive and has like 60 miles less range.
And then to top it off, the Ioniq 5 isn't eligible for the tax credit.
And the story is similar for most similar EVs - they all have some sort of compromise compared to the MYLR spec sheet.
And then that doesn't even factor in the charging experience.
The Model Y doesn't have my favorite EV design. I prefer the Mach E, Ioniq 5 and EV6. But man, the MYLR offers the total package without any real compromises, whereas basically every competitor has some sort of significant drawback.

I'm a 23 year old male. So there's this girl in college who I've become friends with recently and today we went out to a bar after class with some other people and we were having fun and then the time came to leave and she said something about us figuring out how we're gonna leave and I said I'll get an uber - after a while sorting out some stuff I was about to call the uber and announced it to her and two other friends who were there. And then she said "do you want to come over to my place and call it from there? it might be more safe". And I said "ohh no don't worry about it it's fine" and in that split second after I said it there was this like dramatic pause and this other person kinda looked up at me side-eyed like she was saying "yeah? you sure?". And I don't know, it might be all in my head, but to be honest the place wasn't even particularly dangerous, and I just sort of realized the probability of an implication right after I uttered the sentence but it was too late then. Now I'm home alone and just full of regrets. Has anyone gone through something like this and what would you do in this situation? Needless to say that I'm an extremely inexperienced person, I've only had one girlfriend who pretty much opened up to me so I'vealways been terrible at picking up signs before they're made blatantly obvious -- it has happened again and again that I've realized that I missed many opportunities and I don't know what I have to change to stop self-sabotaging myself like this.

So obviously, there's a lot that's different in the show, but after episode 6 I'm pretty torn. There are changes that I think are really clever: Introducing important elements early on in terms of the digging machines, Walker's radio, a large reservoir that Juliette is afraid of, stuff with the Silo 18 stamp, a camcorder with a high-resolution screen, the inexplicable existence of Swedish people, etc, all set up a series of pins that are quite ready to be knocked down in a big, satisfying blow.
The pace is somewhat slowed by flashbacks, but the added focus on George gets us the kids' tourism book and some more intense emotional stakes for Juliette, plus her "fuck you, I'm a genius" moment of fixing his watch. But, the addition of sequences like the generator repair and Marnes' fun little vigilante excursion insert some excitement. I'm not crazy about shifting Juliette's motivation from intrinsic curiosity and need-to-fix-the-problem-itis to being sad about her dead, illicit boyfriend, but what can you do?
On the other hand, there's a lot that I feel is missing. There's no sense of normal life in the Silo - we only see people during times of duress, during festivals, doing crimes, acting insane, being attacked, or being in mechanical which is always a zoo anyway. This makes it hard to get the sense that this is a society teetering on the edge of violence. It all seems pretty normal, as far as anyone can tell.
It takes such a short amount of time to travel the silo, and they even have a special holiday where people are encouraged to mingle floor to floor, so there's no sense of that heads-down task-focus that keeps everyone with their nose to the grindstone, ignorant of the silo at large. This being the case, people should be putting together the weird idiosyncrasies of the silo all the time.
And I'm still not sure what Judicial actually does! Are they a court system? Are they secret police? Why is there a group of obviously evil murder-spies that everyone is afraid of and has nicer shoes than anyone else written into the pact? When you have a group of people going around doing the job of forcibly and openly suppressing dissent rather than having it be something that the citizens do themselves for the love and protection of their own society, doesn't that become an obvious trigger for naturally curious types to start looking around? And it's so much easier to poke around when it only takes an hour to get from the top level to the mids and you can stop for cake along the way. Seriously, unless the actual point of judicial in the pact is to serve as a big, irresistible red herring for potential revolutionaries, I have no idea what they're even there for.
It kind of makes things weird for Juliette too - it is unbelievably obvious that the shadowy organization whose members keep trying to intimidate her and throw her off a railing is troublesome. However, she's hot on the trail and the series needs to hit its episode count, so she has to kind of forget about them for a little bit and kick off a weird relic hunt whose purpose I can't really understand.
Basically, I think a lot of the changes work to beef up the story for TV, but undercut the integrity of the silo itself, and Juliette to a lesser extent. However, I do believe that there is a simple fix for this which hopefully can be implemented in a remaster or re-release of the series:
Give everyone color-coded jumpsuits!

I have been with my bf for a couple of years now. We are two adults in a quite serious and long-term relationship. We currently attend college together, and we have already talked about the future in terms of housing, marriage, kids, etc.
I will start by pointing out my own personal problem- the fact that I can’t seem to let go of the cliche “honey moon phase.” You know, the phase where you’re both falling in love, trying new things, learning new things, etc.
I still remember my bf and I’s honey moon phase. It was like something out of the movies. We would text/talk pretty much all day every day. Replies to one another were instant and detailed. We were so engaged in every conversation and so engaged in learning more about one another. We wanted to see each other as often as we could, and we both constantly planned dates or even just simple meet-ups- basically anything we could do just to see each other and spend time together. Every date was so exciting, and I’m talking about the kind of exciting where we both forgot we had phones. All of our dates were also so romantic and memorable no matter what we were doing. We made every moment together special, and he did so many little things for me just to make me smile, from surprising me with flowers for no reason to writing me cute little love notes to sending me the sweetest messages to wake up to in the morning. Everything was so perfect.
The honey moon phase obviously slowly ended as time went on. We were carefree teens with no responsibilities when we first started dating, and now we’re both busy adults with loads of responsibilities on top of college. I try to consider the fact that we’ve both changed over the years. However, my main issue is that despite the honey moon phase being over and both of us changing, I never stopped trying to put as much effort into our relationship as possible whereas my bf seems to struggle to do so.
As mentioned before, my bf used to do all kinds of little things to make me happy. To this day, I personally still do those little things for him when I have the opportunity. I’ll leave him little love notes, surprise him with his favorite snacks, send him messages to wake up to, etc. I also always try to plan dates when I know we’re both free. We are both busy people, but I still find it very important for us to make time for one another when we can and make one another feel special as often as possible.
Meanwhile, my bf has stopped doing all those little things. He no longer does the little sweet romantic gestures that he used to. His text messages are so much more dry and short, and he often takes quite a while to respond even when he isn’t busy. He barely really even compliments me anymore. He used to compliment me all the time, and now it’s just kind of an every once in a while thing. Not saying I need him to bombard me with compliments every minute of every day, but sometimes I just like a simple “you look beautiful today” after I’ve clearly put effort into myself before going out.
Not only has my bf stopped doing the little things, but he’s also stopped making an effort to make plans with me. I’m always the one wanting to plan dates, and he always just seems to go with it. He’s also on his phone more when we’re hanging out, and that always bothers me. There’s even times when we make plans and he cancels last minute, and then there’s been a few times where he’s unintentionally stood me up. To top it all off, he’s become more short tempered with me. He gets annoyed with me more often, and if he’s tired or simply not in the mood, he seems to not be in the mood for me at all.
It hurts to compare the way my bf was in the beginning to how he is now. I have even communicated this to him several times, and every single time I do, he apologizes, reassures me that he loves me and wants to spend the rest of his life with me, and promises to do better and make it up to me. Then, things get better for maybe about a few weeks at the longest before he falls back into those old habits. I’ve reminded him several times, and he’s been able to reel me back in every time with his sweet talk and promises, yet he still doesn’t quite seem to get it.
My bf has even told me before that he doesn’t make much of an effort to spend time together because we have the rest of our lives together anyways so “why stress it.” He usually uses that as an excuse when I express how it hurts that sometimes it’s easy for him to cancel plans on me but never on his friends. He seems to enjoy making plans with his friends more than he enjoys making plans with me, and he always claims it’s cause he knows he has forever to spend with me and is unsure of how much longer he’ll have with them. Don’t get me wrong, I get where he’s coming from, but that doesn’t mean I want him to not even try to put time aside for us.
I just miss the little things, and I miss the equal effort. I want him to understand that he still needs to put effort in even though we plan on forever together, but I feel like simply telling him that just isn’t doing the trick. I know that the honey moon phase can’t last forever, but I don’t think that means 50/50 effort can’t last. Maybe I’m just overthinking, but I don’t know.
I love this man with my whole heart, and I don’t want to just give up on us. We do still have great moments together, and he’s not a bad guy by many means. However, I just want him to truly hear me and fix these things for our relationship, and not just temporarily. Actions speak louder than words, and I want him to realize that without constantly needing me to remind him. Any advice on this situation would be much appreciated.

Why is it a thing that like 70% of boomers are alcoholics? Don’t get me wrong Gen-Z has its issues with prescription meds, opioids etc. but boomers literally get shitfaced and just go to work like that, but will then lash out at their kids for getting a little tipsy on a Saturday. If anything I don’t know too many Gen-Z alcoholics, I’d say most Gen-Zers can go for prolonged periods without alcohol but will then go on nasty binges. Boomers seem to have absolutely no self control when it comes to narcotics etc. My generation will do drugs etc. but they at least span things out in regards to getting fucked up.
Also, I’m not some dietary freak, I eat red meat, fast food etc. but is it just me or do boomers love stuffing carbs, red meat, and booze down their throat with absolutely no regard or any semblance of awareness as to how much shit they eat. Then when they die of heart attacks they blame it on the vaccine. Like I’m genuinely confused it’s not just the diet but some of them straight up believe that eating butter and bread at 10 PM and drinking milk doesn’t have a negative effect on their health. I almost envy how blissfully invincible they feel.
Also, Gen-Z sucks when it comes to politically correct bs and woke culture, social media etc. but boomers lack basic communication skills and will fight over things that are equally as dumb as Gen-Z, if not more dumb.
For example, Gen-Z will bitch and moan constantly about societal issues that are sometimes exaggerated or borderline fictional, but at least these things they bitch about deal with/concern the population at large.
Boomers will get in insane toddler fights because a tree branch is extending 1 foot from their neighbors property into their property. Some of the things boomers fight about don’t even register in my mind as problems to begin with. Like there will be a Porto potty on the sidewalk a block from their house and they will bitch about how it will drive down the price of their real estate. I once saw my boomer neighbor lecturing a city ordinance crew who was cutting down overhanging branches over the street about his displeasure with that. Even if my boomer neighbor had a legitimate grievance (he didn’t he just didn’t like the fact they were doing their jobs and it was impeding on his peace and quiet) who has the bravado to actually do something like that. It’s also insane to think your actually going to like…persuade the construction workers or something, like they’ll just stop doing what there doing and bow to your insane selfish demands. I can’t tell if this behavior is a middle age thing, where you’ve been on earth long enough where you literally don’t give one fuck about venting your frustrations to anyone, or it’s just some selfish psycho shit unique to boomers. Their generation literally gets drunk everyday and stares at real estate websites even when they already live in a McMansion. Don’t get me wrong, I am all for trying to get rich and living the good life but boomers take it to an unhealthy extreme, where it almost becomes self destructive.
Also, I know it’s natural that married couples fight but is it just me or do boomer couples get in the most insane fights over literally nothing. When I mean nothing I mean literally nothing. A cup will be on the counter or something and one boomer will scream at the other boomer then it dissolves into madness. Incoherent screaming matches that make no sense, I’ve noticed at least when Gen-Z gets into bitch fights it’s because someone actually fucked them over, wronged them etc. Like it’s at least basic justifications like “you were mean to me, you did something behind my back etc.”
Boomers will literally end lifelong friendships over the most benign materialistic things I’ve ever seen. Boomers will chug wine, throw back a couple Percocet, and just GO AT IT. I’ve seen this countless times at my friends houses, spanning across all social classes, and it’s even more insane that they legitimately don’t care if they do it in front of their kids friends. Like can you not even wait to till the guests leave?
Am I crazy for thinking this might be the most hypocritical gluttonous generation in US history, or am I just overthinking things and have most generations been like them in regards to level of stupid fights, selfishness, pettiness etc.

I hear a lot of people bring up the theory that this life here could just be a technological simulation of some sort by humans or some alien species.
Personally, I don't know why but I just never really bought into that or feel like it's likely. I feel like if this was a simulation, wouldn't there be more action? Why would a simulation include such long amounts of watching TV, shitting, sleeping, reading a book, sitting silently, boring uneventful things like that? Movies and video games and our forms of simulation usually have constant dialogue/observable action going on. Plus, if it was a human/alien sitting in the simulation sphere playing out our life, wouldn't they want to choose a great life in the presets? Everyone would want to play out a rockstar, or being rich, or life with good family, etc type scenario right? If it wasn't a human or alien sitting in the simulation sphere and we're created in the simulation, then wouldn't we serve some sort of purpose more entertaining than just going to a job for 8-10 hours a day 5 days a week?
Idk. What do you guys think about the whole idea that this is a simulation? Is there something I'm missing on why this theory is so popular? I feel like most lives people live are too uneventful to be considered eventful by some supernatural force, and if we are NPCs I don't know why so many NPCs like us have such full fleshed out consciousness/desire for happiness when we're built to just carry out simple basic activities for the rest of our lives. Is there more merit to this, do you feel like it's a likely theory? I wanted to ask on Reddit because I know it's the platform with almost no religious nuts on it that'll bring a "blasphemy, God created this wonderful universe, we all serve the purpose to praise Christ" into this.

I am a 19 year old girl in college and have had some form of acne ever since middle school. In the past 5 or so years, I havn't gone more than a week without breaking out. No matter what products I use, nothing seems to work. I've gone to the dermatologist and use prescribed clindamycin every day twice a day but I still get huge, painful pimples. I can't stop myself from popping and picking at them, so they turn into craters on my face that last for weeks. Today, I only left the house once to go to the gym and kept my head down the entire time while I was there. Whenever its as bad as this, I completely freeze out my parents and barely talk because I don't want anyone, and I mean anyone, to see me like this. None of my romantic partners have ever seen me without makeup and I avoid seeing my friends without makeup on as much as possible. Im so sick of spending hours trying to cover it up and avoiding looking in mirrors. I just want this to be over.
